From being overplayed, it's gotten a little stale, but when I first saw it I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Robert Mitchum could sell 'wolf in sheeps clothing' better than just about anyone in film, before or since. So many movies from that era, if a performance isn't really clicking, I can say 'Robert Mitchum could save this', and I'd be right.

I might be alone in this, but I thought Ferris was a selfish and manipulative jerk, who took advantage of his friends and family. I wanted him to get caught.

The true-life story of a coach who tries to teach his players that there's more to life than basketball is brought to the screen in this sports drama
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
