That break was all Milos needed to win the opening set 6-4

Felix will win a title soon, but I do worry all these losses in finals are going to become a mental block for him in the future whenever he reaches a final.

Milos almost pulled off a great comeback in the second set tie-breaker (was down 5-zip, but won six straight points to earn a match point). Unfortunately, Opelka won the next three points to take the 2nd set. On serve in set 3.

He needs to win a set first in one of these finals before he can win the match. In my opinion, he played better against Monfils last week than he did against Tsitsipas today, but Monfils was just unreal in that match. Today, Tsitsipas played well and Felix just couldn't raise his level of play (he has played a lot of tennis of late and might be a little fatigued).

Now Milos is making questionable decisions coming in to net and Opelka breaks him in the third set.
Edit: Milos collapses after that Opelka break and goes out meekly 6-3 in the final set. Pretty disappointing performance.

This is great - Leylah Annie Fernandez received a qualification wild card for the Acapulco tourney and won both of her qualification matches to make the main draw.

Looks like Koempher has dropped out of the Calgary Challenger field over the weekend, which is really too bad. I'm going to say this has turned out to be a pretty underwhelming draw for the second iteration of the event. I definitely don't see a long term future for if they can't seem to convince any of the more significant players to turn up. You don't need too many top 100 level players, but you certainly need to have a deep field of those in the 100-200 ranking. Filling your draw with 300-400 ranked players won't be sustainable in the long run for fans that want to see the best up and coming talent.
The Columbus event also on this week, has far more top 200 hundred level players in the field and offers less points and prize money, which makes very little sense to me. Hopefully the event team puts on a great show this week so the word gets out that this is an event not to be missed next year.

Well he wasn't in the draw that was released yesterday and was still on the player list last week.

He pulled out over the weekend due to injury. He got hurt in Drummondville.

Between Kenin and Anisimova for the Americans and Bianca and Leylah for the Canadians, women's tennis is going to be fun to watch for the foreseeable future.

Watching the Galarneau match on ATP Challenger, the court looks great.
I wish I could go but I can never make it by 6:30 and with general admission tickets, I'd be sitting in the back row by the time I arrive.

I was in attendance last night and can say that it was a much improved experience to the first year. There are more food and beverage stands so that lineups aren't such an issue. Bathrooms are no longer outside and there are proper digital displays for fans on court. The second grandstand court has actual viewing areas at each end now as well, which was a huge miss in 2018.
The crowd was decent, but you certainly wouldn't have had a problem getting a decent seat if you arrived after 630.
From the tennis perspective, the Peliwo match was fairly underwhelming, but the Galarneau match was fantastic. You can never go wrong with hard hitting, hard serving and 3 sets.

Two Canadians in action this afternoon in Acapulco - Felix made the 6,000 mile trip from Marseille to take on Alex Bolt in his opening round match while Leylah plays her opening round match against Nina Stojanovic of Serbia (currently ranked #82 in the world). Matches scheduled to get underway at about the same time (approximately 4:30 Mountain time).

Class act that Pospisil. Showing he's taking this event as seriously as any. He was even out on the courts at the Tennis center last night for about an hour and a half after likely only arriving from Europe earlier that morning.
