The Wild definitely played better. They get a point as they lost 3-2 in overtime.

The Kings are getting revenge, 4-1 over the Sharks right now early in the third period.

Must be nice to have elite offensive weapons.
Ya, easy to pump those tires when they only have to play 6 arguably weaker teams only this year . Never have to play the other 25 teams .

This year is so messed up for stats. " this player leads the leugue in goals" ya when you only play 6 teams a year pretty easy to see what line and where on the ice you will dominate those 6 teams.

The Leafs. They really are fun to watch right now. Matthews/Marner is something special to behold - pretty much what we always hoped Monahan/Gaudreau would be, but way better.

Its not like Matthews is an outlier this year, he is the best goal scorer in the game not named Ovechkin and that may be changed as well now. Certainly the 2nd best since he joined the NHL.

Im a registered Leaf hater as well, but that guy is the real deal and along with Marner likely the best offensive pair going.

The upset of the OOT has to be the Red Wings squeaking out a 5-4 SO win. Greiss made 30 saves in the win. The SO went 7 rounds. Both teams were 2/2 on their PK.

The Lightning get a goal in each period and defeated the Predators 3-0. Vasilevskiy with the 36 save SHUTOUT. Both teams couldn't score on the PP as each was 3/3 on the PK.

The Bhawks were down 2-0 just 3 minutes into the game, but, hung on to win 4-3 in reg time. The BJs owned the 3rd period, 14-3 were the shots with Lankinen coming up big.

Hellebucyk gets the SHUTOUT making 19 saves, the Jets smack the Habs 5-0.
