The Oilers have an overfeeding plan in place. They're going to spend the summer making Nurse really really fat, so he can play left and right D at the same time. It will also improve their depth, because he will be about 20 feet deep all by himself.

He was a force last year in the playoffs. He’s arrived already. Not a point producer but a modern day Regher.

Good riddance, glad for Larsson to get out of that mess.
It says a lot that I can't tell if that is an actual question Edmonton media asked...

The Larsson deal is great. Not only is it good value, but it also significantly hurts the Oilers, sooo ... good stuff.

But that Oleksiak deal is bad ... giving a guy like him 5 years at $4.6m makes no sense at all. Yeah, they have cap space, but that doesn't mean you have to go out and immediately hand out a bad contract.

It helps when you are 'not Edmonton.'

They're really good at making players uncomfortable there, aren't they.

Well if he was unhappy about 1 for 1, he should be relieved to know that his new meme is “ the deal is one for none”.

What’s the difference between oilers and kraken? $100k and a meme.

Whatever do you mean?

It’s not like cashiers at Shoppers Drugmart would tell Dustin Penner he sucked, or even Cry’n Ryan Smyth had enough post retirement and moved to Nashville.
