AKA: 1 game of Jon Gillies, 14 minutes of Hathaway being awesome, 1 game of Jankowski, and a handful of highlights from Kulak. Putting this together reaffirms my love of Hathaway, and confirms to me that he should be the designated energy player this year. Glass has been great, but Hathaway is younger, faster, hungrier, and more effective. Draws a butt-load of penalties too.

Well it's relative to a player's skillset.

If you only value a player in the goals and assists they put up, then there are a whole lot of worthless players in the league.

Yikes I totally missed this too.

It'll be interesting to see how Hathaway does this year. He was pretty darn effective last year but who knows how much of that was pure adrenaline that wears, and only kicks back in when your career is on the brink of being over (see: Glass).
