The more I watch Fravor, the more he seems like someone so invested at this point, he would never back down no matter how much evidence there is to debunk him. He is probably afraid of looking foolish and makes too much money from appearances to ever admit he could be wrong.
He seems to have gone from “this was weird and I can’t personally explain it”, to more adamant assertions that the videos show things that are not from Earth, without actually getting more evidence.

It doesn't even need to be a triangle shaped building. It could just be a triangle shaped facade on a building that happens to be reflecting the light differently from the rest of the building around it.

Here's a map of reported UFO sightings around the world:
I wonder why aliens love the U.S. and U.K. so much.

Here's the public report available from the ODNI, as was anticipated to be released today (June 25):
Preliminary Assessment:
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena
Coles Notes: UAP exist, there is no single explanation for them, they possibly threaten flight safety and national security, and more resources are needed to look into it.
Marco Rubio issued a statement today on it and said its an "important first step" to getting a better handle on what these things are.
I think there's nothing surprising here, but admitting to UAP is a pretty big deal in itself. They also admitted in the report that there is a social stigma around the subject which is noteworthy. I think we'll see more developments on the subject in the coming months and years.
Interesting to watch.

”Most of the UAP reported probably do represent physical objects given that a majority of UAP were registered across multiple sensors, to include radar, infrared, electro-optical, weapon seekers, and visual observation.”
Interesting. Puts a dent in some of the skepticism that perhaps the released videos were just instrument errors / artefacts

The reference to “signature management” was also pretty interesting - does this imply that some of these “objects“ may be using stealth technology or other mechanisms?

Past, present and future stars that can see Earth as a transiting exoplanet
https://www.nature.com/articles/s415...er=www.npr.org
Quote:
In the search for life in the cosmos, transiting exoplanets are currently our best targets. With thousands already detected, our search is entering a new era of discovery with upcoming large telescopes that will look for signs of ‘life’ in the atmospheres of transiting worlds. Previous work has explored the zone from which Earth would be visible while transiting the Sun. However, these studies considered only the current position of stars, and did not include their changing vantage point over time. Here we report that 1,715 stars within 100 parsecs from the Sun are in the right position to have spotted life on a transiting Earth since early human civilization (about 5,000 years ago), with an additional 319 stars entering this special vantage point in the next 5,000 years. Among these stars are seven known exoplanet hosts, including Ross-128, which saw Earth transit the Sun in the past, and Teegarden’s Star and Trappist-1, which will start to see it in 29 and 1,642 years, respectively. We found that human-made radio waves have already swept over 75 of the closest stars on our list.
Although the discussion on the occurrence rate of rocky planets is ongoing, here we use a pessimistic rate of 25% to estimate that there are potentially 508 rocky worlds in the HZ of our full sample. Restricting the selection to the distance that radio waves from Earth have travelled— about 100 light years—leads to an estimated 29 potentially habitable worlds that could have seen Earth transit and could also detect radio waves from our planet.

Agreed; this absolutely isn't the end of the disclosure process. If anything, it's even more proof that this slow burn of information is by design to condition people to accept a future reality, and we should expect more to come.
I'm excited to see what the future holds on this topic; it would be ignorant to assume these cases are never other-worldy, as if any mere human knows the definitive answer to that. We know so little about the rest of the universes and galaxies and what advanced civilizations exist out there besides us, and what they're capable of. This is definitely an exciting time to be alive for a brief moment on this piece of dust in the galaxy.

Or is this the real time establishment of a spy slush fund using this UAP info as a way to get cash out of the senate..
The lack of electromagnetic spectrum detection from non military groups to me puts a damper on any discovery. Personally I’d believe it more likely that we are seeing glitches in a simulation than extra terrestrial life.
US or Chinese tech is the most likely explanation for any UAP that proves to be a physical object.

And the U.S. would have every reason to play dumb. They wouldn't want their adversaries to know their secrets, or for them to know that they know theirs. Not over some omnibus add-in. It's better to let the public think it could be anything, even aliens.
I also didn't think they ever denied that UAP existed. I thought it was always stated that some things can't be identified, so that admission now isn't a big deal IMO.
Many of the same UFO conspiracy enthusiasts that never trust the government are now holding this document up as some kind of strong statement, but like everything else, it has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Also, this was required due to a rider that was attached to a COVID relief bill, so it's not like they just randomly decided to dump this info today.

Regarding the physical object hypothesis that it's U.S. or Chinese, is there evidence readily available to make that kind of confident assertion? It would stand to reason that statement would need as much proof as it being anything else. Physical objects can be fired into the sky from a number of things, including asteroids, volcanoes, objects lighter than air, and space junk. Addtionally, we don't even know if they're physical - they could be meta-material if Lue Elizondo's rather specific assertions about extra or multi-dimensional phenomena holds any weight. We just don't know.
The only thing that could remotely emulate any of those observations from a human level would be private-sector black projects in which there is little coordination with military allies on such tests. Ben Rich, former director at Skunk Works and the primary player in the development of the F-117 Nighthawk, had on numerous occasions during his life made statements about hypersonic, anti-gravity crafts that they built, and crafts that "they" (as in others) built and Skunk Works harvested for big leaps in technology. Whether any of that is true or not is probably buried deep in legal, bureaucratic and dark money projects that will never see the light of day.
I personally believe admitting UAP's are real and even calling out the social stigma, while implementing official protocols to report such encounters is a huge narrative change from the previously tabooed subject that could end careers in an instant. Congress getting briefed on UAP's and their national security threats, while coming to the same conclusions at the 9/11 Commission Report (as in, they should be sharing reports and not siloing for a more complete and sophisticated analysis approach).
Hell, even right in the report they say "Although there was wide variability in the reports and the dataset is currently too limited to allow for detailed trend or pattern analysis, there was some clustering of UAP observations regarding shape, size, and, particularly, propulsion." The fact they even said the word "propulsion" is pretty astounding in itself, as in there are things performing aerial maneuvers with no obvious propulsion method.
I am admittingly very interested in the UAP and have been for a while - but this isn't some nothing burger. This is a pretty significant moment in lending credibility to the topic.

We know that UAPs are flying objects close to Earth, and we know that Americans, Chinese, Russians, etc... make flying objects and that they are from Earth. That's some pretty compelling evidence IMO. Don't be surprised of what humans are capable of and the power of illusion. There was a time not that long ago that something like a helicopter would be viewed as supernatural or impossible, but humans invented it. To someone from just a couple of hundred years ago, it would have seemed unearthly. Small technological leaps can easily become exaggerated by the perception of the people viewing it.
As photon mentioned, if you see hoof prints in your yard, it could be a number of things. It could be a zebra, unicorn, or a horse. None of them would be likely in your backyard, but some are more likely than others, even if you can't officially rule the others out.

reminds me so much of a political debate...you'll never convince people of UAP's having a "paranormal" origin....
Its a shame the Pentagon does not declassify the most compelling evidence; though I doubt that would change anyone's position.
Chinese tech that defies the laws of physics? yeah, ok

It’s all just an exercise in what’s more likely.
What is more likely, that the Chinese and/or Russians have developed tech that we perceive as defying the laws of physics? Or that an alien life form has developed tech that we perceive as defying the laws of physics, and they are bringing it to Earth?

its the equivalent of a rorschach test.
You can choose to believe the veracity of the eyewitnesses, who now include trained observers and not 'just some dude', who generally know what they are seeing, or write them off as crackpots or opportunists.
The Tic Tac incident wasn't just Fravor (who was the commander of the squadron on that carrier) but his wingman and their two additional pilots.
What it was, was unknown phenomena, but if the data is correct, pretty tough to explain what it is.
If are are 'defying' the Laws of Physics as we understand them, then the list of explanations gets small pretty fast. If it is Russian or Chinese technology, I'd be more worried frankly, than an paranormal explanation...
