Yes but when it's 3 points and even games, the Canucks will smell blood. And 5 of those 6 road games are vs. non play-off teams (as of now).

While we play Wings, Pens, Jackets, Sharks. AND our last 6 games are all back to back. It's just not looking good for us.

They need this win to have that buffer zone.

Must win game, I suppose.

I don't like the looks of the Blues PP. The Flames and Blues have played a chippy game the last few meetings. Lots of PP time for the Blues could be bad news.

What!? Last six games ALL BACK TO BACK!? That is absolute garbage. The boys will really need to step up for those...

I hope LA is a horrible team by April because I really want the Flames to be able to destroy the Canucks in that back-to-back. A 2-1 victory won't be enough. Heck, 10-2 won't be enough.

I also think its garbage that we have to play the Canucks on the 2nd night of a back to back. That game could be very important, and the Canucks will have a day off in between.

Te be fair that last back to back dosn't realy count... I mean we play a Home and Home so the Oilers should be just as tired as us, plus I mean those poor guys get locked in a rink with us twice in two nights. They're probably already getting worked up in fear...

On the topic of tonights game... the Flames have to know the score now, those 'nuckleheads think they can catch us and are sitting at home praying we loose, I think the boys in Red are ready to show 'em why we are the contender and they are the pretender. I don't wanna call this a blowout win for the Flames as I think we are looking to lock it down defencivly but...

4-1 FLAMES WIN

We start flying right of the gate and pot 2 in the first Cammie and Moss tally, in the second the Blues find their legs and pot one, don't know or care who gets it. In the third Kipper puts up the gate, the Joker tallies his first in the Dome, then with a few minutes left on the clock Iggy pots an emprt netter.

GO FLAMES GO

Hard schedual or not, this is the hockey we live for, it's crunch time boys.

23-5 Flames.

Every player dressed for the Flames scores at least one goal (that includes both goalies), Moss, Boyd, and Langkow score two.

We end the season with three back to backs, but the first "second game" is against Minny (whom we own), and the other two second games will be meaningless games for the Flames, IMO, as the Flames will have clinched third place. We'll still win them all.

Let's not act like those 2 Edm games are meaningless; if the Oilers are fighting to get in playoffs late, they will take 1 for sure. And even if not, they will love to play spoiler.

Herald Blog today says Roy is out and a d-man is playing forward.

Some more at the bottom about Bertuzzi and Bourque's injury status as well.

Big game for Moss tonight. With a goalie like Mason, the net presence of Moss and Jokinen is going to be very important.

Mosser with two and an assist.

You're right, they aren't meaningless. it's a perfect opportunity to knock the Oilers out of the playoffs. The only team possibly playing spoiler in those 2 games will be the Flames, unless you consider the drop from 3 to 4 bigger than the one from 8 to 9.
