Kris Versteeg has been doing very well since going to Vaxjo. 11 points in 12 games to finish the regular season and now 2 goals and 4 points in 2 playoff games. Playing on a line with Roman Horak.

He has a goal and 2 assists in Game 2 of Vaxjo's first-round series against Orebro right now. It's 3-1 in the second period.

Versteeg is now leading the SHL in playoff scoring after finishing fifth in regular season P/GP.

I sure hope so. His talent is still easily NHL level, he’s just unfortunately been hurt so many times in his career. I’d love to see him back in the league.

I bet Edmonton would happily sign him. Would be an immediate upgrade in their top 9.

This is only a 4 team play-in to the quarter finals though. The best teams don't enter the playoffs until the next round.

Sorry for Scorpion, but Versteeg only had 1 point in five QF games and his team is out of the SHL playoffs.
