He also won them trophies, the incredible run on the goal in the league cup final vs barca, his goals in the cl finals etc. He was more than worth the fee

He wasn't used by Zidane because when he was used he was bad. He couldn't be relied on. It's just really as simple as that, no matter how much people want to think that there was some vendetta, it was really just performance.

I don't think it was a vendetta but Zidane clearly didn't like him, it's the same with reguilon, he was the best left back in la Liga in 2019 but Zidane never rated him since he was in the u16 team.
All managers have players they don't think works in their style and therefore are harder on them, add in bales injuries and the negative attention in the press and it was never gonna end well.
In those first 5 years though, he was apart of maybe the best club front 3 ever? The BBC were such a threat and from so many different ways.

It's a nice strike. He's yards offside and I have no idea how it counts though.

Lol state of English reffing summed up: De Gea has been given the assist....which can only mean Cavani was offside. Great goal though.

And to really complete the comedy, the PL tweets that this could be the goal of the season. Sure thing. You don't even need some terrible ref to draw lines for you to see that he's offside by at least a few meters.

I mean whatever, this it the definition of a meaningless game so I really can't care that much, it's just another example (as if we need more) of how piss poor officiating is in England.

That's Maradona-esque. Celebrate like nothing happened.
He was also offside

Well, they got what they deserved for playing for a 0-0. They only generated the one chance really (the goal was essentially Chelsea OG). I do like them and hope Liverpool stumbles, but just don't see it. OTOH, bravo BHA playing on the front foot vs MCI!

It's close
I think as individuals msn are better, their stats when all 3 played together are pretty similar too, I think the BBC edge them as a unit by a sliver just for the variety of ways they could attack and how they worked so well together, msn goals seemed more individual brilliance, whereas benzema was the perfect unselfish striker that created so much for cr7 and bale with his movement or passes

Not that I'm hoping it happens, but if spurs somehow lost by say 5 or 6 to leicester on the weekend to help the foxes goal difference... wouldnt be the worst thing in the world

Except .... No they didn't. Because it was never credited to him ...ever.
The goal was at the time of, and still is credited to Bruno. In addition to the Beeb link earlier.

Now, why don't you provide a link for your image? Be a lot easier, no?

Stats were not similar. For those 3 years, (14-17) MSN scored 50% more.
