You know, I used to think/want having Tom on the Flames would be a good thing. Hard nosed big kid with some skill, but honestly he’s been suspended so many times for these dirty bull#### hits I don’t think he should even be in the league anymore.
How long is this guys leash?

10.25 games.
I think they should have just suspended him for 10, or more. I mean at this point, he's not learning any lesson. He seems to have concluded that he has to play this type of game to be effective, and suspensions are the cost of doing business.

That's pretty much it. Eventually you have to say "Well he seems to think this is okay." And at that point, you really need to discourage it. I'll be honest, when I saw it, I thought it should be the rest of the regular season.
