What is it with the Blues being involved in one goal games? Talk about weird, 9 out of the past 10 games have been like that. They've won 4 straight by one goal including Friday night's game 3-2 in OT over the Kings. Perron tied it with 44 seconds left in reg time and then Hoffman scored the GWG. O'Reily had 3 assists and Perron with 2 goals.
The Ducks to get the opening in a lot of their games but can't hold a lead. They were up 2-0 in the 2nd period and went on to lose 3-2 in OT to the Avs. Strong goaltending by Gibson is the reason the Ducks get a point. Both teams were perfect on the PK.
The Knights beat the Sharks in OT 5-4. The Sharks were down 3-0 in the 2nd period and came back to get a point out of it. Pacioretty scores the GWG in OT, his 2nd goal of the game. The Knights were 0/4 on the PP.
The Wild and Coyotes sucked on their PP. Both teams were a combined 0/7. Minnesota won 5-1 with five different goal scorers.
The Bruins pounded the Capitals 5-1. Marchand was a nightmare for the Caps as he had 2g and 1a in the game. Both teams were perfect on the PK.
The Wilson hit was bad but the Boston tv crew are just unbearable. Give it a rest
The Boston tv crew are the most homer-ish group in the NHL but, I must admit, I find them entertaining. I’m glad Tinordi bested Wilson in the inevitable fight. Bergeron and Marchand were great.
