Multi point game for McDavid, still get blown out. A story line that never gets old.
Also.. Preseason MVP Ty Rattie averaging 3 points per game has seemingly disappeared now that the regular season is here. How absolutely predictable

No way, Milan Lucic is on an 82 Goal pace this season and Connor is looking at 160+ points, Parade full steam ahead!!

Oilers were 41% in shot attempts, 32% in scoring chances and 17% in high danger chances.
They generated 2 high danger chances five on five the whole game.
Imagine, preseason and the regular season are different!

Well, at least the Flames didn't have to travel all the way to Sweden to lose the first game of the season 5-2. So, we've got that going for us.
Looks like Nurse is already in mid-season form...
