So looks like Wahl, Bancks, Negrin and Martin were the scratches tonight. Also noticed Brown was dressed as the backup instead of Ortio. Should be an interesting year as there is a lot of competition down there. I wonder if they give Ortio some ECHL time so he can get a lot of games in.

Kolanos was also a scratch. But only because he and Bancks are injured.

I would imagine Martin is the odd man out on D. Negrin was likely a last-minute scratch due to Henry getting sent down.

Not sure what the deal is with Wahl.

I don't see any problem with Ortio, if he is sent to the ECHL to get his feet wet and to get lots of playing time.

Bancks was definitely injured.

I don't think they plan on sending Ortio to the ECHL, but we'll see.

Good to get the win.
I want Wahl to be playing though.

Negrin and Wahl are still 2 of our better prospects, so I'm not sure why they're missing out on playing time. I don't like seeing guys like Walter and Piskula get the call over them.

I know how you feel, but Walter was the 4th leading scorer in the entire AHL last season. He will help a guy like Nemisz who he was paired up with last night.

I agree with you, however, that Piskula shouldn't get time over Negrin.
