We didn't think we were gonna be able to resign Martinez with some young players needing new contracts.
Got a lot of offers on him but decided to go with NYI.
Was hoping to get a 2018 1st but will have to settle for 2019, Ladue was the other big piece coming back, he's looked good in small sample size for the Kings this year hopefully gets a chance to better showcase himself.
