There's rain in the forecast later this week, but Felix is raining down aces right now.

Colic whining about anything and everything right now I think. Now we just need the band to start playing outside again for a complete meltdown ala Dan Evans

Meanwhile, Cressy has forced a 4th set in his match against Medvedev.

Hey Felix, how about a break of Cilic to serve for the match?

Edit: No bueno and Felix is now serving to stay in set 4.

Well done Felix!

Great showing by both Canadians to make it through to the quarters.

Unfortunate in that they now face the toughest two men remaining in the draw, and what I project will be the two finalists.

But they are both finding their groove so anything is possible!

And they’ve both done great making it this far. Go Canada!

First time since... last year at Wimbledon I guess.

Going to be really tough to get any further for either of them but never say never, anything is possible.

Felix is getting revenge on guys that have beat him in ATP finals - First Dan Evans who beat him in an ATP 250 last year in Melbourne and now Cilic who beat him in a ATP 250 final on the grass in Stuttgart last year (Cilic was 3-0 H2H prior to today).

Medvedev wins in four sets over Cressy which means Felix - Medvedev in two days time.

Good catch - now he just needs to do it in an actual final to cure what ails him.

It's amazing what playing slightly more sensible tennis does for both FAA and Shapo in big matches. It feels like a light has gone on with both of them early this year where they can start to navigate how to win matches without the urge to blow people off the court with huge strokes (and ultimately drove of unforced errors) and play a much more patient game.
