Feels kind of Linus Lindstrom-y. Hoping for the best, but offensive ability is definitely questionable.

That appears to be this Ilya Nikolayev who played a season in the QMJHL

Not the one the Flames just drafted.

But Nikolayev seems decent. Hopefully he works out.
I'm impressed you still have player rankings at 88.

I think there might be 3 in fact. Hockeydb shows a 25 year old one as well.

I don’t, just some favorites from watching a couple tournaments over the last couple years. Cajkovic was great at the Hlinka and I’m still in love with Pasic from last year’s u18s. I’m really surprised he hasn’t been taken yet.

This kid is going to be a beast. Mark my words. We're going to be very happy with him.

The Flames have ignored Russia to their detriment for far too long. That country produces too many good players.
It's worth taking a Russian once every draft and stockpiling them.

really cool pick, I like this one a lot. Models his game after Bergeron, fine with me!

If Crazy Bacon Legs says it’s a good pick then it’s a good pick dammit!

Anyone who models their game after Patrice Bergeron is a student of the game and worthy of using a draft pick on. If there's one player I want to a hear a forward prospect naming, it's Bergeron.

So we drafted a Marchant comparable and a Bergeron comparable

Don't know. Sometimes the Europeans surprise you with how much English they know.
