Stafford doesn't take draws.

I am not as worried about his hip as I am his character. Wasn't he rumored to be 'difficult to coach' or something? Cowan was just a promising defencemen.

Yuck. Cowen sucks. He literally cannot move on the ice.

Not really with the likes of Bart and a decent collection of prominent prospects some of which we've allowed for considerably growth in the AHL.

I get a Nicklas Grossman feeling from Cowen. No thanks.

I would rather have Kylington and Andersson up than Cowan.

We are fine with crappy depth as long as no one gets hurt. If Kulak, Andersen, Bartkowski, or Cowen are playing in our top 4 that is scary

Please just stay away from Cowen. He is not a good player.

I feel like he would be the #6/7 depth guy IMO.
No chance they take the risk that their #5 guys is a band-aid coming off a major surgery like Cowen.

Cowan makes sense as a PTO guy or a 2 way guy.

Would most prefer Marleau.
If not then settle for Justin Williams
And if we have to sign Handsome Sharp.

I don't think I would like Sharp much. He is 35 and has only played a full season once in the last 7. Seems to carry more risk than Marleau or Williams to me.

Williams, please. He would fit on the 1st line nicely. And then get Brouwer the heck off the PP.

Cowan would fill the sacrificial lamb to the Lucic, Kassian, Maroon, Ritchie, Manson role.
We don't want Ferland or Giordano having to fight those guys.
I think there will be a face punching added, much to the dismay of some on here. Think Cowan, McIirath, Stoner, etc.
I'd like Prout as a 7th RHS defenceman who only comes in against the Oilers and beats up the 3 stooges during the regular season.

Chris Neil at league minimum for about 10-15 games this season when we need a guy that can play a little bit and still chuck 'em.

Would the Flames have any interest in a guy like Dan Girardi for our bottom pairing? Wasn't he recently bought out in NY? Could be decent I would think.
