What shader are you using? It looks good with the hunter raid gear.

You need voice communication and a five other players and to be a bit higher than 26 so you aren't a complete albatross. It's where the game actually becomes the most like an MMO so you're better off to read up on the mechanics at this point then wandering in totally blind.

So by "carry" you mean take your controller and play for you, right? Because you need to get those kills yourself to get that bounty lol. It's really not that bad though because assists count towards it as well. Just arm yourself with Atheon's Epilogue and void special/heavy and go to town.
Edit: Just realized that maybe Atheon's sucks now post-patch. I haven't actually tried it. Better go get yourself a Word of Crota then heh.

It doesn't suck. It's no different than using a blue, which is common. It's not ideal, and Word of Crota would be better... buuuuut.
Need a void shotty. Also need to just play Crucible and get used to it. I can FPS pvp with a mouse and keyboard. A controller feels clumsy and like I have to telegraph my shots, I can't just react.

After the patch, AE is just as bad as it's ever been. All the slower firing high impact auto rifles were affected the most.

Swordbreaker seems to drop with relative frequency on Crota NM. That's a fun gun to play with post-patch. Reload speed is beastly. I'm not sure how it handles in Crucible though, since I'm more of a fusion aficionado myself.

Ah. I remember using AE when I was running the thorn bounty. I remember it being not all that bad!

if I ever decide to complete my thorn bounty, I'll definitely be relying heavily on word of crota and the swordbreaker.
it's been sitting at the pvp stage in my inventory for about 3 months.
I'm good at COD, but I'm terrible at crucible.

Crucible is my baby.
Completed the 15 head shot sniper quest in like two games last night.
I've found that people tend to rely too much on shotguns and fusion rifles. If you have your range right, pulse rifles and auto rifles are the best for crucible.

If I can figure out how, I'll post my 6300+ control gameplay from last night.

I am pretty sure I'll just abandon Thorn. Requirements like this are something that will make me quit a game in short order. I should not be forced to PvP to get an item I plan to use solely for PvE. I understand why they need to integrate PvP into these quest lines as to not make it so they are always out of their element. But this quest chain openly punishes me for not wanting to PvP. There are no quest chains that openly punished PvPers for not wanting to PvE. There is no major drag back on these quests that will prevent them from completing it. I would rather be forced to hit 1000 void points with no loss on death. 500 with the loss on death for someone who doesn't enjoy imbalanced pvp that MMOs offer is essentially going to make this something I can't finish because it requires me to do something I never wanted to do. It's bad game design.

I'm all about the scout rifles in crucible. Mad respect for someone who kills me with one. With all the thorn, vex mythoclast, and fusion rifle crap it gets pretty frustrating, but nothing like a scout rifle headshot.

Yea scouts take some serious skill to work. Kind of like a dmr in halo. I really want a red death though. The heal after each kill bonus is amazing for pvp.

Congrats. Now no excuses for PVP with a toy like that.

I haven't played much PvP in a while. Raids are keeping my attention right now. But checking my stats, my overall time in the Crucible is only surpassed by my raid time.
Strikes are actually super low priority for me. I'm guessing I've run less than 10 Roc Strikes. Nightfall/Heroics are of course the exception. But even then it's rare that I run three Heroics in a given week.

I spam roc strikes as my raid drops are always awful. More often than not, I get all energy. Not even shards. Energy. And then no guns drop.
RNGesus hates me.
