Which has the better camera? I use my phone for phone calls, texting, jogging (music and strava) and the camera. My wife has a Nikon dslr for really nice pics. I use my phone daily because I'm an annoying dad who takes pics of his kids and bikes I'm building.

Varies because there are a lot of Android phones.
Some of the Sony androids apparently have ridiculous cameras.
The iPhone 5 is coming with an 8 mp camera which seems to be the standard.
Why is the iPhone build quality better? Because it is heavier? I've taken apart two iPhones and two different Samsung phones and you know what? On the inside they are pretty much the same. I hate the plasitcy feel argument. The Captivate I dropped over a few dozen times is still kicking and running JB just lovely. The iPhone I dropped once from less than two feet sits in pieces in my desk drawer because it is effing useless. I know what one is of better quality.
I tried to like the iphone I really did. I used it for months but i just never felt right in my hands (I'm a bigger guy) and I hated the keyboard. I always went back to my captivate.
I'll admit I love tinkering with the Android ROMs and apps. I really enjoy Google music, Voice, Drive, Gmail Maps. I think they intergrate wonderfully. I think Now is the cats pajamas.
Really, there was nothing on the iphone that I couldn't do with android. But felt there was plenty I could do on android the ios couldn't.
(Ducatis are not the best, btw, so don't think my analogy suggests anything biased)
Ducatis are a show piece. They are not something a person buys to throw a bunch of tacky aftermarket products on. They use a lot of unique proprietary technology and are extremely expensive. People buy them for one reason. It's a Ducati and they like them. They have no idea why. Performance-wise, they are certainly not better or worse than the rest... but they are what they are and there is a cult of Ducati people out there that will ride nothing else.
Are they sheep?
Suzuki/Yamaha/Honda, etc... they are equally high performance. They are arguably better in terms of reliability and they're cheaper. They are highly customizable, there are tons of aftermarket products for them. These bikes are for anyone and everyone who isn't attached to the 'feeling' of an iconic brand, but many are still attached to and love whatever they put in their garage just as much as a Ducati snob.
The fact that people get so annoyed by others because they like a particular telephone is effing insane if you think about it. It's a phone not a car. Just like cars, they all do the same thing.
Who cares what's 'better'. 'Better' is subjective.
If we're going to bash on Fandroids or Apple Fanboys/Sheep, why aren't we bashing on people who are in love with their sports car and always buy Chevs, when we can argue that there is a better car that they could have spent their money on? I mean, this guy could have thought about his purchase, but he just sheep'd his way into the GM dealer and bought a damn Camaro without driving a Mustang first. What an idiot. What a sheep. He loves Camaros... effing fanboy.
You people engaging in phone hate are more effed up than I am... and I hate everything (equally). It's a PHONE. It hides in our pockets. Who cares.
Here's another stupid analogy:
Two hot as **** twin broads. You don't get to hear them speak and you know nothing about their personality.
One has blond hair. One is brunette. They are both equally DTF, ATM, BJ, DP & ABC.
All men will be sheep-like in being drawn to one over the other based on nothing but, either their strong attraction for one or strong dislike over the other.
My name is GreatWhiteEbola. I am an Android user, I have been an Android user for about 2 years. I tried the "gateway" Blackberry and moved on to the Apple iPhone, but that just wasn't enough. After years of using I moved on to the android trying many different varieties.
My name is GreatWhiteEbola and I am an Android user.
My Tokina has been dropped so many times the camera's focus drive just spins like a blender and doesn't do anything to focus the image anymore. The glass is good though lol

For the most part they're fairly similar, but here are a few differences that stick out to me.
iOS functions better within it's own world and it's something Android will probably never match for obvious reasons. Streaming music to a stereo is completely seamless with iOS (assuming you have an Airport Express or Apple TV) while it's a chore with Android unless you use an intermediate device (Xbox) or have a DLNA capable receiver, and even then it's not as polished.
All right, I can't let that slip... Streaming music is seamless with iOS as long as you have an Airport Express or Apple TV(sound like intermediary devices to me) vs Android that requires an intermediary device?
I agree if you have lots of other Apple stuff and buy all your content from itunes, you'd be pretty dumb to get an Android phone. Lots of people don't want to get locked in to getting everything from Apple though.
BTW, my Onkyo receiver works completely seamlessly with the Android Onkyo app in a nice 2 way fashion of being able to control the receiver, see the displays on the app, control the Receiver's Pandora app, and stream music from my phone. That's about as slick as it gets, I'd say.
Content is going to dictate the winner, and this is where I see Apple's strategy doing them in. 1), they don't like to compete on price. Movies, tv shows, and music are often cheaper on Amazon or Google. and 2) they are not allowing apple apps on things like receivers, tvs, cable boxes...etc. Apple wants you to have an apple device hooked up to all those things to view or listen to your itunes content, and that is where they are going to lose customers.
So what's better, black cars or white cars, and why?

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

How about video streaming to a TV? And you aren't "locked in" to buy Apple products. Airplay enabled devices are now very common, even video streaming airplay is getting common with devices such as the Boxee Box.
That is one of my pet peeves, you don't have to buy apple peripherals, but they are designed to work together seamlessly and without hassle, why wouldn't you?
