At times, Sportchek has done heat-pressed lettering. They've been inconsistent through the years, but just be aware if it matters to you.
Did just snag myself the All-Star jersey for 50% off though - thank you for the heads up!

It seems the jerseys that are on sale are the ones that are about to be discontinued

How do these compare to the authentic jerseys one can pick up at the dome?

I bought a heritage classic monahan during the last sale and the jersey is authentic. The lettering is a slight step down. A typical authentic from the dome has double layered twill that is stitched on. The sport check ones are single layer twill sewn on. Still two color though.
Biggest difference I noticed is that the numbers arent as stiff. If that makes sense.

That actually makes sense. I have been wanting to pick up a Tkachuk Jersey. How much was the heritage classic jersey for during the sale? Wondering if I should wait for off-season and pick that one up instead.

Wow. Is the price of a replica jersey with lettering really $250?I guess these are the "Authentics" and they also have a "Fanatics" version listed for cheaper? What's the major difference?

The Fanatics ones are awful quality and less detailed and are made of inferior materials while the Authentics pretty much exactly resemble the ones worn in games
Fanatics is an entirely different company than Adidas and the disparity in quality is enormous

Also, regular home ones are $105. So if you dont like the lettering you can buy these and get them dome at fanattic.

There are a fair amount of differences. The "authentics" are basically the Reebok premiers, with narrow sleeves and similar material. SmoggyFlamesFan had a good post on the subject:

Finally, below there is a side by side comparison. The MiC feels alot more like a traditional hockey jersey, while the indozero is a lesser quality made fan replica. The difference is night and day, but they market these jerseys in such a fashion that the casual fan won't know the difference. Indozero jerseys are nice, but they ARE NOT on ice authentics.

All I know is that I cheaped out on a jersey for my wife a few years back and never again. $125 for a lady “authentic” Gaudreau jersey unfortunately was a total piece of ####.
I wish I could say that I won’t buy any more merchandise but the reality is that I’ll pay more for the next one.
I’m such a degenerate

I bought a Tkachuk jersey and it arrived a few minutes ago. I will be returning it. I bought a Tkachuk Heritage Classic jersey and compared the two. Both are the Adidas made in Indonesia version. The material and fit on both are the same. However, the letters and numbers are horrific on the Sport Chek jersey. The HC is sewn on and feels like cloth. The SC version feels like cheap plastic. I'll just get a better version at the Dome next time I'm there.

Yeah Sportchek is great when blanks go on sale but their customization is ####
When Adidas jerseys came out they cleared out Reebok ones online for $30 each. I bought like 6 but got them customized elsewhere

The fanatics have a softer logo that is sewn and the overall design is close but is clearly not authentic. That being said the fanatic jersey is much more comfortable to wear in my opinion and with quality customization still looks good. The fanatic is overpriced but the adidas version is pure robbery
