We have a co-worker returning back from one of the areas in China with a confirmed case next week (after Chinese New Years). Should we quarantine her in her cubicle?

Can you be sure that's enough? Err on the side of caution. Murder her, burn her body, burn her cubicle.

I get why you might eat a racoon or a porcupine if you are facing death by starvation, but not if you can just buy a bit of chicken at probably a tenth the price, seriously why?

Well the US is about to announce their first case of this in Washington state. That's getting close to home...

Yeah I took the kids last week, we stopped by the beheading station while workers with butcher knives chopped the heads off getting blood all over and damn it sure was crowded. We were quickly bored with that so we moved on to the more exotic dog and cat dept and were shocked and pleasantly surprised when we found they had skunk and fox and porcupine and so many other delicious meats to choose from.

Have you been to the open air pig, dog, chicken, iguana, racoon, fish, seafood, beaver, rats, bird, turtle porcupine market? All done with seemingly no sanitation, cutting them on the ground?

No, you haven't?

Bad comparison then.

Did you see the 'melt the beaks of on a red hot iron so they don't peck each other to death in the overly cramped cages' show, my kids loved that one.

I won't argue that the animal conditions are terrible here but that isn't what Alexs brought up before being labelled a racist by Flacker and you comparing their market to a chicken slaughter house.

We are talking about a packed tight open market with no health control and "normal" food animals being kept together with wild food animals including those banned for creating the last deadly virus.
