Default Shipping Delay Question

So I ordered some athletic tape online via Amazon, shipping from China. It arrived in Canada on Jan 12, and is listed as "Item Processed" as of Jan 13. Is there anything I can do to inquire on the status, or do I just have to wait? 6 week seems pretty extreme for customs processing.

Send an inquiry through amazon. If it’s outside of the delivery date range they gave you at the time of your order they will refund you.

Yeah, date range ended Feb 10. Going through Amazon shows this:



So I'm going to contact the seller.

In the meantime - the fact that the parcel is in Canada now makes me think there must be some way for me to contact Canada Post/CBSA to see if maybe the package got lost or is just missing some info?

In future PO box it to Blaine, generally cheaper shipping and quicker

Honestly, I wouldn't put any blame on the seller here. Customs is a mess right now. Unless you've paid extra for some kind of express shipping, you should expect this.

regardless of what this says, i'd still contact Amazon- i have returned a few things that were out of range like this. i just had to send a message to their customer service.

If it makes you feel better my expedited parcel from the Netherlands cleared customs on Friday and was set to be delivered.

Out of the blue yesterday at around 5 pm the status changed back to customs processing complete and the delivery date now says unavailable.

Into the ether goes that package. I even bit the bullet and paid extra for expedited shipping so I’d get the quick customs clearance.
