WALL OF LINKS REMOVED

That's a lot of links that don't say anything about New Orleans sinking. Here, I can show you are wrong with just one.

While there are four causes of sea level rise in Louisiana, land sinkage is the main contributor.

That is exactly what all of those links said. You suggested the problem with New Orleans was it was sinking and unaffected by changing sea levels. The rising level of the gulf and its encroachment on the delta is a huge problem, one all levels of government recognize, and it is directly linked to climate change.

21 degrees in Alert, Nunavut today. Warmer than Victoria BC. Ben like that for two days. This is troubling.

Seems a little alarmist. A couple days hovering around its old record then dropping back to average temps?

It's been a very cold 2019 for Calgary. This is troubling.

Didn't you get the memo? Record cold temperatures when they happen are just weather and not at all indicative of overall climate. On the other hand record hot temperatures are clearly another sign post towards impending climate doom!

Alberta has also had a year's worth of tornadoes mid way through the season!

With the way the media reports everything in 2019, it is pretty easy to take a couple bad weather events and have everyone up in arms over them without having ANYONE look at the overall picture.
I admit even I often read about a weather event and instantly think about climate change and how the world is changing, but lately I've been reading more about the trends and its tough to say 'oh we have more tornados' because of climate change because that really isn't the case.

Read back through the thread. Some were posted. I am not specifically talking about tornados either, just using them as an example.

That's the thing, there are some trends, like the arctic getting warmer. But there are also lots of not-trends, and I wish the media would do some research before assigning every single weather event to climate change.
