Nice to have Bagelton back. Too bad they couldn't get him to sign for more than a year.

Glad it's done. Not too worried with Reggie signing 1 year deal. The guy turned down more money from the Bombers to return to the Stamps this past year and now re-signed well before free agency opens. As long as Huff offers him fair money, he likely will be a Stamp.

So was I; Maas is a good OC; lousy HC but a good OC.

Looks like it will be Arbuckle and Cornelius for the Elks:

The crazy thing is that Arbuckle has been around since 2018, but only has 4 more starts than Cornelius (according to my rough math). I imagine it will be an open competition in camp, notwithstanding the difference in salary.

Bo has restructured his contact again.
https://www.stampeders.com/2022/01/0...2022-contract/
Quote:
“I’m very pleased that Bo yet again has demonstrated a team-first mentality,” said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel. “I look forward to seeing him continue his winning ways on the field.”
“With the changing environment in the CFL over the past few years due to many circumstances, I understand that to have a winning team it is in my best interest to restructure my contract to allow us to re-sign Jake Maier, as well as other players,” said Mitchell, who joined the Stampeders in 2012. “Having another winning QB in the room will only make us stronger. My driving force still is and always will be, to be the best QB for the Calgary Stampeders that I can be and I look forward to a successful 2022 season.”
“I’m excited to have Bo back and I’m thankful that he again has shown himself to be a great leader,” said head coach Dave Dickenson. “The quarterback position will be a strength of our team and I’m really looking forward to the 2022 season.”

Pooped on him a lot last year, but that's a solid move.

Tiger-Cats extend Dane Evans through 2023.
Now, where do Masoli and Harris end up.

Reilly's future is up in the air and while Nathan Rourke looks like he can play in the CFL, you would think BC would still like to add a veteran QB. If Reilly does retire, they would be in the mix for either Masoli or Harris (more likely Masoli).

With Dennis and Reggie back in the fold. I'm expecting a nice bounce back year from Bo.
Stamps are making some nice moves this offseason.

I would imagine Ottawa will be all over Masoli. I wouldn't discount Harris going back to Toronto.
