Chris Edwards was suspended for six games while MBT was fined for their respective actions following the Argos loss to the Ti-Cats in the East final.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have named Orlondo Steniauer as the team’s president of football operations.
Steniauer will retain his role as Ticats head coach while heading up the team’s football operations staff.

Great to see Orlondo staying put in Hamilton. The CFL needs to retain quality coaches/people.

Drew Allemang is one of the best; if not the best talent elevators of Canadian talent. Good to see he got a promotion in Hamilton. Hamilton leads the CFL IMO in fancy job titles with all those promotions/hires.

The Argos have released the Sackmaster.
The Toronto Argonauts have released defensive lineman Charleston Hughes.
Hughes signed a two-year contract with the Argos in February, which had one year left on it for the 2022 season worth $145,000 in hard money. He played nine games with the double blue, recording 18 tackles and two sacks during the shortened 14-game regular season in 2021.

“I am very thankful to be given the opportunity to continue my career as a Calgary Stampeder,” said Maier. “It was important for my family and I to surround ourselves with a high-class organization and a supportive fan base. Just watched a highlight video on youtube of Tommy Stevens - He has good wheels, the video seemed to focus more on his running than passing ability however.

Taysom Hill comparable as he's an all around athlete. Even drafted by the Saints. I assume they are looking at him as a project.

Seems like an interesting prospect. He's 6'5, 235 lbs, so he looks more like a prototype QB but has some speed/athleticism as well (it looks like he was trying to break into the NFL as a tight end).

Rats, I was hoping for Jason Maas, but the Elks have brought in Stephen McAdoo as OC.
The Edmonton Elks have confirmed three additions to their 2022 coaching staff, unveiling some of the pieces joining new general manager and head coach Chris Jones.
Among the coaches on Jones’ new staff are two key faces from Edmonton’s last CFL championship team.
Stephen McAdoo (offensive coordinator) and Jarious Jackson (pass game coordinator and quarterbacks) return to the Green and Gold in the same positions they held during Edmonton’s run to a Grey Cup title in 2015.
