Michigan had no outside game at all. UCLA gave them all kinds of chances to come back and win.

As a Michigan fan, that hurts. Lost to a clearly inferior team but just could not buy a basket. I don't think it matters in the end as Gonzaga looks too strong.

Against Creighton, Gonzaga shot 25/33, not from the free throw line, but on all 2 point attempts. 8 misses for a 76% shooting percentage on 2 pointers.
Today they had already missed more than 8 halfway through the first half, but were still up by 16 points at the time, and never looked back and we’re not challenged.

Thats the thing with Gonzaga, they can play the game any way you want and still be good enough to win...usually by double digits.
They can fly up and down the court in transition, they can play half court, they can rain 3's and they can play in the paint. They defend extremely well in all aspects as well. They get to the FT line and sink those at a crazy rate too.
Ive seen more dominant offensive or defensive teams but i do not recall a team that was so good in every aspect of the game...and they really do make it look effortless.
IMO the only team that can beat them is themselves.

I'm surprised Gonzaga only opened -13.5, I know garbage time can bring down the margin but I expect Gonzaga to win by 20+.
Edit: Although Gonzaga is -1200 on the ML which is pretty insane.

I’m pulling hard for Houston today but going to be really hard for them to pull the upset here. Baylor should cover but you know the Coogs will make them work for it.
Gonzaga game will be over after five minutes.

This first game is over. Cougars will be hearing iron clanging in their sleep and Baylor running a pro offense.

Are there any Canadians still playing in men’s and women’s? I think there were quite a few women playing to start. I don’t know how many men started.

Feels like it's only a matter of time before Gonzaga puts the hammer down, but impressive first half by UCLA to hold with them so far.

Yeah that seemed to go as well as it could for the Bruins...and they still trail at the half.
Very impressive though....the shooting by both teams is off the charts.
