Yeah im not sure how the defending national champions who are on a 29 game winning streak can be considered as inferior to anyone. I would agree the Buckeyes were better early on and had a chance to bury Clemson...but that Clemson D held when it had too and the offense is as good as any in the game.

Pretty awesome game though and I am not a fan of either team though I do loathe Ohio State a lot.

Clemson plays pretty poor competition all year long so I don't doubt that there is a bit of an adjustment early on. Once they get the feel of the game they closed it out. They will get to feel a new gear when they face LSU and will not be able to have 20 minutes to figure it out.

No. Four is good. No one thinks the fifth best team in the country can be any of the big 3. I'm not sure that's ever been the case.

that Clemson/OSU game was phenomenal.

Best
Finish
Ever

(I hate Ohio State...)

Burrows vs Lawrence should be amazing... Burrows was unbelievable, granted it was vs Big12 Oklahoma, who can't play defense worth a lick...

Reading stuff this morning and see that Ohio St. is complaining about officiating.

That is ironically hilarious to me.

Joe Burrow is on a mission this year, Trevor Lawrence hasn't lost a game yet in his collegiate career. It's going to be an awesome national title game.

Hell of a play by Bryce Perkins and a hell of a catch by Hasise Dubois.

Florida though looks like they will curb stomp the Cavaliers (a team that lost to Miami who just got shut out by Louisiana Tech) but Bryce Perkins is worth watching.
Boy you couldn’t have been more wrong if you tried. ND trashed Iowa State, that game wasn’t even competitive for a quarter. This Florida and UVA game is fantastic, came down to a final onside kick. I can only assume Utah and Texas will end up with a Texas W.

Texas putting the boots to Utah something serious. 24-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Henry Ruggs is being helped off the field after a hard fall when trying to make a diving catch. It looked like he landed on the ball really hard in the hip area.

Rose Bowl has been a great game.

Have Minnesota on sport select along with Bama (how that game was only a 7.5 pt spread is stunning to me) and if i get tonights game (Baylor +5.5) and Tennessee tomorrow at -2.5, I will be cashing a pretty nice ticket.

@simandel:
Wisconsin played in four Rose Bowls in the last nine years and lost them all -- by 2, 7, 6 and 1 point. That is rough.

And Baylor is a complete no show. Sigh. Seems to happen often with Big 12 tams in big games. What are they now....1-6?

Don’t watch a lot of college football, but doesn’t there seems to be an excessive number of staff on the sidelines? Compared to NFL games.

Added to the fact that there’s a crew of guys on each team either holding up what look like big barriers after each play, on which I can only imagine it’s to prevent signal stealing from behind or above? Seems excessive, and over dramatic, and paranoid, especially here in bowl games where teams don’t play each other year over year anyway. It also looks comical with all the theatrics.

In Michigan game those guys were out in the field preventing the sky cam from looking at the huddle on a time out. Again, excessive, and overly paranoid if it is to prevent sign stealing, as it doesn’t seem to be a big deal in the NFL where stakes are just as big if not bigger.
