I think Boltmann had three apples tonight, including one beautiful stretch pass from the goal line up to the offensive blue line to spring the goalscorer

I know he was -2 last game, but Boltmann continues to impress for the Irish. Not every prospect is going to be a huge scorer. Boltmann continues to show he's just a strong defender. Will be interested to see what he does at the pro level. That 2020 draft could be one that makes up for the 2018 oh-fer. Will be watching to see how many players from that draft get pro contracts as there isn't one who has not punched above their draft position. As it stands, the Flames have Zary, Kuznetsov, Poirier, and Solovyov already signed and it looks like Francis and Kerins are both headed to contracts before June 1st. That would leave only Boltmann and Chechelev unsigned, but both of them having longer windows of opportunity to sign. That would be something to see, a whole draft class getting pro contracts from the Flames, but the potential is there.

I wonder what our perception of JB would be if he had played these last 2 seasons in junior instead of college? Surely if he can muster 13 pts in 30 NCAA games in his D+2 year playing against men, then could he have perhaps put up nearly a point-per-game in the CHL? Most fans would be a lot more excited about him.

Coronato looks like he's trending to play at least 2 years at Harvard. Not that's a bad thing, but was kind of hoping he would blow the league up and join the Flames after one season.

After a decent start where he scored 11 points in the first 13 games of the season, Josh Nodler has gone stone-cold, with only one goal in his last 19 games.
Tonight, he has scored his first goal since December 30 and his first assist since November 19.
The NCAA regular season is winding down this weekend. The ECAC and Big 10 tournaments start next weekend.
Since ASU isn't in a conference, their season will end with a couple meaningless games next weekend against another independent team, Long Island. This weekend, they're playing in Alaska (also against an independent team). I'm not sure what Koumontzis's status is. He hasn't played a game since early January, so his college career might already be over.
At this point, it looks like Notre Dame is the only team with any Flames prospects on it that will make the NCAA tournament. MSU and Harvard will need to win their Conferences to make it.

1G/1A each for both Nodler and Coronato, both in losing efforts on Friday.
Boltmann had no points and was a -1 in Notre Dame's 4-1 win over Michigan.
Koumontzis is injured and not playing again for ASU. Mattson also didn't play on Friday.
