Only after feeling not great does RNH realize he has broken ribs. Thing is he’s in Hawaii on the break, days after the game. 18 games missed. Incompetent Oilers medical staff strikes again.
Oilers really trying to get Lucic a goal, playing with McDavid again. Looks as effective as putting Lomberg with JG.

With the Leafs loss and The Bruins win I can't see the Leafs catching them for the 2nd spot in the ATL. Bruins just keep winning and with the games in hand I don't think the Leafs can make up 8 points on the Bruins.
So far I really hate Plekanec and Moore is way better than him.

I thought he'd be okay on the 4th line. Maybe once they get Matthews back he will look better as a purely shutdown line. So far he hasn't even looked good defensively.
I guess I just don't like how Babcock gives Nylander such a shortleash at C and put him back on wing with Plek at C. But Plek has shown nothing at centre.

Yeah. All Plekanec has basically shown so far is that he's looking like he's ready for the retirement house. Not very promising.
Hopefully he'll show he has something in a 4th line role this time when Matthews comes back, but I'm not holding my breath on that happening because I didn't like much of what I saw from him as a Hab this year.

LOL Lucic still not even close to being remotely able to get a goal, but hey, at least he forced McLeod into a brutal turnover that almost resulted in an Oiler goal by Draisaitl & Nurse.
