Zero issues with Ronaldo moving on. He deserves to be playing CL football. Can't see him going to the one team toilet league of the Bundesliga unless that's his last option. Italy or possibly Portugal my guess.

Got a decent couple of years left in him before he wraps up with Beckham in Miami which from a branding pov has to happen.

So frustrating how long it takes United to grind out a deal with a new player. Something not right about that.

And that shoulders video. Sweet Jebus! L. O. effin L!

Christian Eriksen will sign 3 year deal with United. Really happy with this.

I hope he has a good year, except when he plays Spurs! I think there was probably interest in bringing him back, but he would’ve been more of a depth piece for Conte and not a regular starter.

Ugh. Now I have to cheer against Christian Eriksen?

United ruin everything.

North London based international footballer has been arrested on suspicion of rape

https://twitter.com/TeleFootball/sta...R8-aEw4AGyCxWw

They can't name because of UK libel laws, twitter thinks they have figured it out based on the hints in the article

not really. There's several players at both Arsenal and Tottenham in their late 20s who are expected to go to the World Cup. Also, just because the arrest happened in North London, it doesn't mean it has to be one of those clubs, no?

There's pretty wide-spread speculation on who it is. It's kind of gross, and really the focus should be on the victim. Not sure what it is with footballers, but there seems to be quite a lot of this over the past year or so?

not just footballers, but athletes in general, unfortunately. I mean, look no further than the Hockey Canada allegations that have come up. Disgusting ####.

and yeah, I agree that the focus should be on the victim. At the same time, it's understandable that fans go "hopefully that scumbag is not OUR scumbag".

Chelsea have been told that Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo could be willing to join them, but the club are yet to decide whether to make a formal offer.

There are suggestions Ronaldo could be willing to take a pay cut to ensure he can play in the Champions League next season and, despite his fondness for United, sources have said he would be willing to join a long-standing rival.

Lol! Now that would be a helluva switch...

they sell ridiculously well. Not only have they made a ton of money for Ferran, Jesus and Sterling now, they've also sold youngsters Lavia and Bazunu for a combined £24m to Southampton. They'll surely sign Cucurella from Brighton next.

Yup. You wouldnt think so, but they really, really do.

Castoffs in Jesus and Sterling have essentially paid for Haaland.

Castoffs is a bit harsh

Sterling is arguably one of the 5-10 best in the world as a winger, Jesus is a good striker for a mid table team like the one hes at now

'Castoffs' is obviously a bit harsh, it was also a little tongue-in-cheek seeing as they were deemed surplus to requirements at the team that won the League.

I'm reading that Sterling is likely to be Chelsea's highest paid player with wages north of £290k/week.

Is signing a player for 85m who has made it incredibly clear he doesnt want to go there really a good idea?
