Ferrari has some nerve.

First they don’t pit Charles, then they tell Sainz to hold up Lewis and Checo on the restart by extending the 10 car lengths maximum. Thank god Sainz refused. What a bunch of tools.

I don’t care if Charles is their only chance, Sainz deserved that win. You already screwed Leclerc and now you want to screw Sainz? Goddamnit Ferrari you suck sometimes.

Happy for Sainz, and happy Zhou is ok. Happy for whoever came up with the halo concept too. That’s another driver saved by it.

If I’m a big wig in Ferrari I’m seriously thinking about who is calling strategy. They have lost out on other races already and the indecision today was pretty clear for everyone to see. I can’t see RB being that slow on the decision making process.

It's a joke that nascar has better barriers than F1.

If that car catches fire, he's dead.

Think there's a flaw in the design there where the gravel trap pit stops a few feet before the tyre wall causing him to catch an edge on the top of the pit wall and flip over the tyre wall essentially taking them out of play.

They either need to increase the height of the tyre wall or move it forward so it reaches the edge of the gravel pit.

Another good day for the halo.

Crazy exciting race. Was just thinking on the formation lap that we haven't had much (any?) Turn 1 incidents this season and then that happens. So scary, and it amazes me that it took the sport this many years to even implement a safety feature like the halo.

Sorry if this was posted earlier. Thank God the race was red flagged right off the hop.

Also hope it posts correctly.

Updated standings after a very eventful British GP. Man that was alot of fun too watch. The race truly had everything.

My hate for Ferrari is starting to exceed my hate for Bottas. Leclerc is gonna jump ship if they can't get their strategy calls figured out. I am however, super pumped for Sainz. He's deserved a few wins that didnt quite go his way, so I'm happy to see him get the trophy. Next up is Norris...then Russell.

Standings! TimSJ takes top spot this week with a solid 4/10 slot and 7 top 10 pics, well done. Woob extends his lead this week to 22pts with 3/10 and 7 Top 10.

There was a bunch of us that got 0/10 slotted...stupid f'ing Ferrari.

3thirty this was your 2nd carry over...dont miss the next one! Jepworth this was your first.

Spoiler!

They should have stacked them in the pits and gave both tires. I really don't think anyone was going to pass up new tires on that safety car and it was pretty clear Max was not going to be a factor.

So Max had a nice little rebuttal to Hamilton's dig on him last week. For reference, Hamilton made the below comment in an ESPN interview:

"He does learn, so that's positive for the younger drivers: when you're 37 you still are always learning!

"You can clearly see it in the images, of course. Charles gave him less space than I did last year, so that says enough. Moreover, he received a penalty last year, so you should not talk about that."

Asked if it was smart for Hamilton to make such a dig, given the huge Dutch crowd that will travel to Austria this weekend, he continued: "He has to live with it himself.

"I think it's a bit clumsy but, in the end, it has nothing to do with my performance. I have to focus on what we're doing here. I think we're doing quite well this year, so we'll keep working on that."
Point - Verstappen.

Totally OT, but I want whatever supplements Lewis is taking. I'll be 36 this year and I look like I'm at least 10 years older than that guy.

Well that was interesting. Wonder what Merc did to loosen up those cars. Lewis probably should get a new gearbox and resultant penalty.

Max should be in the clear for a P1 hat trick.
