Too bad it doesn't break down for "transport", like the Mixer. Same problem with the Ferris Wheel, that could have been a lot cooler also if it had included transport trucks. A lost opportunity in that series, IMHO.

It’s going to be at least $400 here. It would need at least a couple trucks and that would probably add close to $100 to the price.

You’re right that it would be cool though.

Can't wait for that Voltron set! I have a love for combiner robots. They've always been my favourite as a kid, from Transformers to Voltron.

I really don't like the DB5, just looks too boxy for such a curvy car.

If anyone is missing pieces from old 1980's sets, let me know.
I might be able to help

especially the old space sets like the 6970 and 6971, 497.

unrelated, I still love the old yellow castle set I have, the 375

I had 6970 and 497 when I was a kid. Fortunately, my parents saved my Lego and I was able to rebuild the base. It was mostly complete but I did have to bricklink some pieces and use some I had on hand. I'm missing quite a bit of the Galaxy Explorer though, so I'm curious how much of it you have.

almost the full set. might be missing a few pieces. but I'm sure I have close to everything. (no instructions or box, though. those are long gone.)

IF you have NetFlix, there is a season 2 episode of "The Toys That Made Us" on Lego. It's a fun walk down memory lane for any Legomaniac.

No love for the Harry Potter sets that come out Aug 1? I couldn't be more pumped for all of them. They are small and will be easy builds, but they should be fun

None of the sets really interest me much and the appeal is with the mini-figs.

The Quiddich match looks like fun though and seems good value but what I really want is a bigger $400 version of the Great Hall or something else Hogwarts related with a ton of detail. Also I would like the train however it looks like it would require modifications to add a battery pack and fit on the Lego tracks

I wish we could get some Hogwarts sets similar to the quality and size of the city Creator sets.
