Excellent!
Now I can buy 2 or 3 more games that I will never get around to playing.

Holy crap I forgot how slow Steam servers get during the first and last days of this. Usually get 7mb/s download on steam, getting 44kb/s right now

Yeah they're getting hammered. Good thing I'm not in a rush to play.

Do the prices change during the sale or do they stay the same throughout?

I don't need to worry about this until winter. Huge backlog to play through. Working on Skyrim now. Or it's working on me. Whatever.

If Fallout 4 went on a massive sale (the GOTY edition), I'd probably buy it. Still think it might come down a bit.

Yep, not that I have the extra money anyway but I have a ton of games that I've had for years that I need to finally get through.

Fallout 4 GOTY is 50% off right now.

Not a Steam Summer Sale item, but sale related. Shadowrun Deluxe is free at Humble Bundle for a limited time. Pretty good reviews at Steam.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/s...returns-deluxe

Saw Fallout 4 on sale. Still think it can come down some. I'll check at the winter sale or wait for it to hit the daily deal before pulling the trigger. Hell, I got Fallout 3 and New Vegas to play through, yet. Had picked up Fallout 3 and New Vegas years ago on a Steam sale for $10.00 each.

New to Bethesda games and kind of lost in Skyrim. Seems the reward for finishing a quest is picking up 5 more to do. I have so much to do haha.

Let me know if that game is any good. It's been on my watch list, but I keep hesitating to buy it.

There are some comments in this thread that made me pull the trigger on it, though you may be looking for something more in-depth.

Edit: Love the way I referred to "this thread" but didn't include a link to the thread I was talking about.

So far, I've bought:

Dungeons 3
Car Mechanic Simulator 2018
Transport Fever
House Flipper

Dungeons 3 is a lot of fun. It's almost exactly what would happen if Warcraft 3 and Dungeon Keeper 2 had a baby... and then sold it on Steam...

Car Mechanic is pretty cool so far. I've always wanted to knock around and teach myself more about cars, but haven't really had the $$$ or garage space to get into it. I've only done the first service order so far, but already if a mechanic were to tell me he needed to change my calipers and ABS module, I know exactly what he's be talking about!

Haven't had time to try the other two yet, but from what I can tell, House Flipper is kinda like Car Mechanic, in that you buy old houses, fix them up (like, in a hands-on kinda way), and then resell them - gradually moving up from shacks to mansions. Sounds pretty cool to me!

That's the next game I'm going to play, so it's going to be awhile before I get to Transport Fever. I don't know if it would help you learn all there is to know about how to fix cars, but it definitely gives a basic understanding of how they work.

I opted for city skylines, for 8 bucks it was a no brainer. It sure is a resource hog though, but fun. I missed those Sim city games.

I grabbed a few things.

Borderlands 2 GOTY edition
The Evil Within
Left 4 Dead 2
Ori & the Blind Forest
Race the Sun (I actually enjoy this game a lot, for some reason)

Anyone wanna play Borderlands with me? Never tried this franchise before but I've heard nothing but great things. I'll play by myself if I have to, but I'm pretty sure it'll be better with someone else.

It’s ridiculously fun so far.

I scraped 25K together and went to a barn and found a Dodge Charger and a bunch of parts. I stripped it all the way down to the frame, tore the engine apart, etc. Sold everything that was in 79% or less condition, and then started rebuilding it with new parts. Got about 2/3 done before I ran out of money, and then sold it for 46k!

Then I started taking tranny and suspension jobs one after the other, and now I’m level 11 and sitting on about $80k.

Seriously enjoying this game!

Whoa. I just hit up a barn and found a Cuda with a 426 Hemi! Oh hell yeah.

Edit: Holy cow there’s a 440 Roadrunner in here too lol. This game is awesome!
