400 goals for Malkin. Another milestone. And another empty net goal. 4 - 1 now.

Not many 1-0 wins in the NHL.

How about some secondary scoring? Tkachuk can stop trying to make the highlight reel. Our supposed 2nd line centre hasn’t scored in how many games now? Playing on the top line no less as a winger.

Quit bitching about the officials. The Flames haven't deserved any calls. When you don't skate and you don't outwork the opposition you don't deserve the calls. They quit playing after the first period and went for a pleasure skate after that. They deserve the loss.

Excellent first period, two penalties in the second killed the momentum, third was a draw. Hate to lose but on to the next game

I have heard this a thousand times, but I have never seen a stat to back it up.

The idea that you could maintain possession for that long without giving it up, seems like a real stretch to me.

What a waste of a game where Johnny actually does something.

We don't deserve to be streaking in the losing direction with the way the Flames have played in this.

But we will now. Effs sake.

He was hurt and this was the first game he looked to me like he was moving well. I don't know what was injured but to me whatever it sapped his burst but he looked better this game. So I think he's playing hurt.

Their best players were better than Flames best players.

solid narrative - you watched the game and saw the calls and non-calls

Except the Flames legit drew a lot of calls that weren’t made. That ain’t bitching. It’s plain observation. Maybe they didn’t deserve a win, but they deserved some calls. How come, when they were skating hard in the first they got no calls? Or at the beginning of the third?

I disagree with that. I thought the Penguins didn't really do a helluva lot, especially their best players. Their team defense and team play was the difference. They suffocated the Flames with a solid system and a lot of hard work.

He really hasn't had a good game since his injury IMO. Maybe he's still not 100%

What are you going on about?

Don't deserve calls? Officials should make calls if there's an infraction. And there were SEVERAL infractions that were not called that could hvae changed the complexion of the game. We all know too well how a good pp can change things.

I didn't think they played poorly. I think they out chanced the pens and simply ran into some good goaltending and a lack of puck luck.

Yeah, and I saw the Penguins outskating and outworking the Flames. I saw a lot of stuff that could have been called both ways let go. How about the team just buckle down and work harder than the Penguins? They didn't in the last two periods and it showed on the scoreboard.

Too many clear cut quality chances that the Flames top guys missed the net or muffed shots.
