Have to give Tippet credit. He's getting a lot out of a pretty bad roster. Flames will have to chain together a bunch of wins if they are going to catch the Oilers in the standings.

Just can't figure out their defense. Everyone plays high risk which leads to lots of offense, but they are constantly giving up grade A chances every minute or two. Just not a winning formula, but they also don't have the personnel to play a strong defensive game either. Goalies have been hit or miss depending on the night. I think Bobrovsky is just shell-shocked at the moment.

Here's hoping they find a way today, but it's been hard to watch lately for Panthers fans.
Well that was prophetic.

Lol, they are currently tied in the standings. The extremes the doomsayers go to on here is hilarious.

The Tippet strategy is the only way for the Oilers to win.

Bottom lines just trap and don’t get scored on. Rely on Draisaitl and McDavid to score, have a strong PP and PK.

I could honestly see Draisaitl winning the Hart here.

Funny how you dont see their opponents put up a good effort often. Especially in the last month, and particularly out of conference clubs. Bless teams like the Lightning that actually put forth a respectable performance. Not that you need much to beat a team of waiver wire fodder, overpaid europeans and Minusaitl.

Yup time and space and backhand chops it to an unoccupied corner for the Oilers EN goal.

Way to s**t the bed, Florida. These teams that are rolling over for this garbage McDavid-less Oilers squad should be embarrassed. The Oil should be dead last in the league with that dumpster fire of a roster, and yet here we are in a neck-and-neck battle with them for the division.

This is the darkest timeline.

Florida sucks. They have been hot garbage over the past several weeks when they could have taken the leafs playoff spot.

Sharks play spoiler two nights in a row shutting out the Wild tonight who were looking to get within 1 point of the last wild card spot.
