Expected a drop off a couple weeks ago. What a weird season.

Hard work, hard skating, never give up, and grind away at their wins. Solid goaltending all the way down to 3rd string doesn’t hurt either. I’ve been following them as my 2nd team since I spend a fair amount of time there and have watched around 1/2 the games, including one there so far. Fun team to follow.

If I put on my "what's the best fourth line we can build" filter, then I actually like the guy.

The best fourth line we can build is Mangiapane-Stajan-Hathaway.

A lot of these guys (Lazar, Brouwer, Versteeg) are being force fed 4th line ice time without being the best option.

I would like to see if Hrivik might be better than Stajan. The latter has been pretty bad many games, and Hrivik is doing well in Stockton and looked okay in the pre-season.

I like Hrivik too. Could very well be the answer.

If I really wanted to tweak the 4th line come playoffs, I'd consider Mangiapane-Dube-Hathaway. I believe Dube showed that he can drive play as a center when he was making Tanner Glass look good in the preseason. Glass would not have a contract without Dube.

Only somewhat, as Huska broke them up quickly. I don't know if that was to spread out the ability level of each line or because there wasn't chemistry, as I didn't watch those games.
