When I caught my first level 35 I wasn't paying attention and when I noticed thought I had somehow accidentally wasted a bunch of dust on skiploom .

Introducing weather is pretty awesome although from my experience so far it can be pretty inaccurate and pretty much any weather warning results in "extreme" weather killing the bonuses. Hopefully they figure out how to manage not all weather events are equal (ie. a snowfall warning in Canada or high surf warning in Hawaii shouldn't be considered extreme weather).

Yup, currently any special weather statement issued results in “extreme weather” in the game.

This was especially funny for people in Saskatchewan, where a special weather statement was issued declaring unseasonably nice weather.

Windy weather resulted in nabbing a 2747 CP Ho-Oh today in a raid, so that was nice.
Of the rare variety (I expect?) I wild caught a Delcatty today. Have the Gen 3 evolution items even been released yet?

I’ve caught a wild delcatty at level 31, also a wild Mightyena, and a couple level 30 wild Hariyamas.

Nice. Your discord is strong, obviously. I think I was wrong anyway. I thought by googling that Delcatty required 50 candies plus moonstone to evolve, but I think that is not right - and why I thought she was therefore rarer than she obviously is.
YNAT, you must be close to catching them all now, by the sounds? Like dex close to 290? I'm only at 271 right now.

No, just at 271 as well. I suppose I could evolve a Gulpin for another, but I’m waiting for a better one. Still a ways to go. The only thing that I dont have that I’ve seen is a ralts- the one I tried to catch ran away. My kids caught it on thier account.

I suppose I’ve gotten a bit lucky in catching some evolutions in higher levels.

Ralts hatches from a 10km egg so I expect there won't be a lot of them to be found.

A lot further behind than most here as I've lost my casual interest until my girlfriend really latched on to it. Lv25 and hoping to get a Machamp soon. For casual gym clearing, the need for fighting types is real. Caught 10 Machop today due to the weather, plus seeing Lv30 machops are well.

Just another 13 candies to go.

New pokemon spawning now. In addition to the 20 new gen 3s, Delibird and a different Santa Pikachu are spawning. Also, I'm noticing a lot more Torchic spawns downtown, so maybe they upped the starter spawn rates. There's also a shiny Snorunt

Really, I’m 5/8 on catching between 2 accounts.

I was significantly above 50% for Ho-Oh, and a little above 50% for Groudon.

I was 13/16 on Ho-Oh, 20/25 on Groudon, and am 4/6 on Kyogre (last 2 ran).
