Pretty boring start to the season IMO...
Why do they constantly cast black players who can't swim? And is someone really gonna not take the torch with a chance to get back in the game?
Pretty embarrassing for anyone who even has to think twice, especially a few days in

Caught up on the episode (Yay, night shift this week and next...)
It does seem like a slow start to the season.
That was a pretty bad showing at the challenge for Keith. Useless on every single stage.
I'm a bit surprised that Wentworth wasn't targeted, as you can easily keep a challenge-loser around and get rid of them pretty quick. Though maybe it might be better in the long run, since they don't know about the EoE, and having Wentworth there could be a problem.
That was a weird place for a cliffhanger ending, too. It also feels weird to be 2 episodes in, and technically have no one voted out yet.
I'm not sure where I stand on this season yet.

I think the fact that there isn't much discussion about the episode over 24h later says a lot

I'm actually glad there's a tribe swap, Kama is too strong and Manu is just dysfuctional. Challenges are too predictable right now. Wentworth really needed a swap, she's barely skating by.
I wish they would show the votes after tribal, we don't need clips of the person walking to Extinction. Extinction is also taking away airtime from the people still in the game, I wanna see Aubry and cute redhead more.

Wendy is a moron.
And I'll be very happy on the day I never have to hear the name "Wardog" again.

With Wendy in my pool I struggle having to cheer for her, that said as of now I am glad I didn’t double down on her as I had contemplated earlier. If she goes far and wins I will reverse that remark to be serve me better in the present tense.

I think as this season goes on, people will actually decline going to the island so they can go somewhere and have a burger, see their family and poop out a couple of tape worms

Its well past due for the show to explain wtf are the exact rules, purpose and other endpoint(s) of the extinction island. Right now its just a stupid boring distraction which erodes the spirit of the main game.

Looked like next show we'll find out what the point of it is. I agree though, so far it's just taking time away from the rest of the game.

It just hasn't been a really interesting season so far.
Nobody is playing the game all that well.
And how stupid to you have to be to talk about bouncing Joe when he's sitting right behind you.

I think David has been playing well. Wentworth looks a little lost this season.

My guess is the extinction island "tribe" will eventually have the opportunity to vote somebody back onto the main island, likely at the merge. Sets up an interesting vote for who is most deserving of the second chance, or who has the best chance to extract revenge depending on the group's motivation. What do you guys think?

I'm guessing its a challenge and whoever wins will be back in the game. The people sitting at the island are getting weaker and weaker so those there the shortest time will have an advantage. Which makes the most sense. No one wants to see the early voted out people to return.
Also leads me to believe it was sort of a ploy to keep someone like Joe or Wentworth in the game longer if they got voted out early.

I was hoping that the rice ration was fixed regardless of occupants on the island, so the more occupants, the less there is to go around, edging closer to starvation the longer you've been there.
Eventually the annoying early inhabitants will have to raise that mast, or risk withering away until too weak to defend against the ensuing cannibalism.

Just caught up again. This season...isn't really impressing. I had some hopes for the tribe swap to shake things up a bit, but that was the weirdest outcome on a tribe "swap" I've ever seen. So...more of the same.
They need to explain or do something with Extinction Isle, 'cause right now all it's doing is ruining the most interesting aspect of the game (The vote-out).
Reem is/was/continues to be a bitter *****

Damn, didn't think Aubry would get played like that. Hope she gets back in the game.

That was a good 2 hours. Curious to see how the edge of extinction twist will work with the merge.
Wardog is surprisingly horrible in the challenges.
Even though she sent Aubry home I appreciate Victoria's ruthlessness, she's a gamer. But I also have a feeling Aubry isn't done either.

Wardog is horrible at everything. For all of his strategies he's terrible physically and his social game is a mess. He's not going to last long after the merge.

Edge of Extinction looks like a pretty soul sucking place, particularly with Reem being such a cow.
