The fans do not have to be weary, they can be arrogant and full of bull, they even can be full on mental about it because we are merely fans.
The team on the other hand should be confident, focused and fully prepared for any opponent.

Yes Stone is a great player and Fleury is better than our goalies but last I checked several things still held. Our defense (especially third line) is better, our first line is better and our fourth line is likely better. They probably have a more narrow gap between their 1/2 lines than us and their third line is better but it’s not like we are awful there. Plus in any matchup we will have home ice advantage.
|
Yeah they are definitely beatable there's no doubt about it. Calgary is an excellent team too so I think it'd be an awesome series to be honest. It just won't be easy. I would imagine a 7 game situation.

You're damn right. The Flames will beat VGK in the playoffs.

Meh. He has been hot and cold all year, and was on track to play more games than any other goalie in the League before his injury. I like the Flames chances.

Words that could easily come back to haunt you.
Mark Stone is easily one of the most complete wingers in the league.
While your characterization of “hopelessly lost” is completely incorrect, if looking hopelessly lost in one games means a player is hopelessly lost forever, every player in the world has no chance.

Also Mark Stone scored a goal in that game. Vegas will be a tough out especially after tasting the Stanley cup finals.

Is it 100% that MAF will be ready to start in the playoffs? I don't like the Knights chances of beating the Sharks (I realize they did just beat the Sharks starting Subban) or Flames with Subban in net.

Subban has gone something like 6-2 since mid December.
He started the season 0-6.
He is play probably about on par with the Sharks goaltending this season.

Yes, but I don’t care. Until the day that happens I will continue to relish in the expectation that VGK gets bounced in Round Two by a superior team in Calgary.

Being reported as day to day. I guess who knows but sounds like nothing serious.

Didn't know where else to put this, so bump i guess?
Treliving on with the morning guys live from LA, and the TDL came up again.
He was talking about prices once more and again said something like...
"well obviously i cant name the player but we can all put 2 and 2 together, but the ask on one deal was this years 1st, next years 1st, Valimaki AND Andersson".
So that's the second time he has blurted this out and tells me that this was in fact the deal...thank GOD he wasn't tempted or got caught up in the hype of the day.

I don't get why that would be the ask for us when Vegas didn't pay nearly that much.

Ask may have been that much at one point, but I think Ottawa caved in on price when the top prospect was included and the deadline ticked down.

We all assumed it was Stone he was talking about, but what if it was Panarin. It may explain why he is still in Columbus.

Probably because Dorian knew if Treliving was ready to pull the trigger on a trade, it likely meant he was gonna get screwed. Haha
I actually wonder if winning in trades like Treliving has, can make a gm a little hesitant to make a deal with that gm?
