This is 100% the appeal of this show IMO. Very few accomplish this.

Season 5 cast got together to start work. They are going to have to jump ahead in time at least a couple years.

Yeah, not sure how that will work since 4 ended on a pretty dramatic cliffhanger.

Why are they working in a Garage? Did Netflix slash their budget?

That's an industrial bay. If Eleven has one more nose bleed using the force I'm going to need a new Television.

I can't remember if it was discussed earlier. Apparently the reason season 4 ended so weirdly is that, season 4 was always meant to be the final season and it was being written that way. Then halfway through production some higher up decided that they wanted a 5th and final season. So they haphazardly rewrote the last 2 episodes.

I'm not sure...usually those decisions arent so 'last minute' but I'm undecided on my feelings of a 'Troll Season.'

Just...all the shackles are off, do what you want, no holds barred...give 'er!

Some people want to go out with Grace and some want to go out in flames. I'm not entirely sure which I prefer.

Flames tends to be more entertaining.

Hopefully the "Sensitive Sallies" are going to grow some balls and start killing off some main characters.

I love Bobby Brown.

Season 4 really upped the ante and leaned heavily into the horror element. I'm looking forward to seeing how they wrap it all up. I love this series.

Dude...if its going to be your final season? Kill 'em all.

Oh people would be livid. They'd be so mad. But the show is over...

Who is that girl who died in the first season? Bev? Deb? Barb!

Get her to come back and kill...whatever 'bad guy of the day' but everyone in craptown buys it first.

Oooh....that'd be great!

Me too, I can't wait for the next season. Except for S2 (which wasn't terrible really), all seasons have been awesome IMO.

Season 4 was awesome. I am hoping Season 5 just seals off the Upside Down forever and they call it a series for good (and when I say that, no reboots or kickoffs down the line).

It's a rare occasion now when a series goes out on a high note and doesn't ruin it by drawing it out too far.

The series has been getting progressively worse until season 4 which was definitely a return to form. I'd say season 2 was decent, still entertaining if not as good as season 1, and season 3 was actually pretty mediocre. So it's 50/50 on if they'll go out on a high note.

I agree. I feel like it's been on a downward trajectory since the first season, with a few peaks in between. It strikes me as a show that didn't expect to have a long future and then just flew by the seat of their pants after it did well. Also, it insists upon itself.

I loved season 3. Steve and Robin were fantastic and then never ending story part had me dying. It was much more of a bunch of buddy cop shows from the eighties then ET so I get why people didn’t like it as much but for me it was perfect.

Oh man, Dustin and Susie just belting out Never Ending Story, with the cuts to the monster chasing the car, with the faces of everyone going "WTF?" was comedy gold.
