Hey I really get not wanting to be on social media anymore (I've deleted most of mine) but if you can make time to meet CPers in person, theyre pretty good people. I'd 100% grab a few beers and watch a flames game with you. If you do decide to leave please reach out and let's hang out in person.

Man, I'm going to miss Zamler and his ZTV contributions. He's one of the few posters on CP who, IMO, deserves a send off thread. Zamler is one of those guys who always kept his PGT contributions with fresh content and is in my mind, second to Gaskal whenever I look up the highlights of every PGT
Zamler, I totally get your feeling and wanting to step away from CP. Hopefully we'll see you again, but if not, don't rule out other message boards or social media. It can be a breath of fresh air to see what other platforms do. Take care and thanks again for all that you've done for CP

You're experience here is what you make it, you determine if you want a positive or negative experience. We are passionate about our team and we get emotional during the rollercoaster ride this team it's fans through.
Stay man, we love your graphics and the majority of us would really miss your contributions.

I don't post much, if at all, and have been lurking forever. Lots of posters I can't stand reading, but I don't engage, and only post when I think I am adding value. I think it has helped keep bringing me back for the last 19 years.
Flames winning is serious business, but I try to take everything posted on CP with a grain of salt.
Scored loads of sweet river rock from ratech back in 2009. So CP definitely has already paid dividends for myself. And my front yard.

You gotta do what you gotta do. If taking a break or leaving the site is better for your mental health then that's a no-brainer. Hope things work out for you.
GTs can be toxic at times, but I don't think they're as bad as some people make them out to be. They are rollercoasters. And the team has been so good this season that the PGTs have been overall pretty fun.
I stopped visiting FB years ago and it was a great decision for me. Don't miss it one bit. And twitter can be brutal, but it also depends who you're following and reading. I stopped following a lot of political accounts this past year and I've noticed a big difference. I just try to stick to sports for the most part.
As a mod I'll just say what I've said dozens of times over the years.....please report posts that you think we need to look at. We cannot read every single post on here. We just don't. So if there's something that definitely needs to be taken care of please let us know. And also some self-moderation would be a big help to everyone here. We all can get wound up at times over whatever subject it is we're passionate about, but try pretending that person is sitting across from you IRL. Would you still talk to them the same, versus thinking it's just some random person on the internet that you can talk to like garbage?
This place is supposed to be fun. The internet can be a dark, toxic and depressing place. Let's try to keep this place fun.

The one thing I'll say is that if want this place to be better - we all need to be better. It's easy to point the finger at "others" without looking in the mirror and asking if you can be better. I would say we all have moments where we are defensive, or snarky or whatever.
You want this place to be better? Be better.

Also I'll give a shot out to the mods here. I have 100% crossed the line on here (a few times) and they have responded appropriately. At the time of my issues with them I was pissed, but looking back on it they do a fantastic job here. Thanks KFF, Photon, and all the other mods.

Oh my. I could have wrote this post myself. Including the River Rock part. LOL!
If you see this Zamler I would like to thank you for all the contributions you have made. I read a ton of the pages on this board and you became a very good poster in my opinion. I will personally miss your contributions. It's too bad some posters here think it's funny troll and get people upset but that's the reality in this place. I wouldn't be surprised if most members like myself (one's that don't post a lot) are sad to see you go.
Doesn't have to be forever though.........

Best of luck Zamler and thanks for your contribution’s to this site. I know this is your decision however CP is better with you, and I see the decadent direction you are concerned about. I would really like if you could stay and continue to provide positive wholesome content and find a way to ignore the ignorance.
Good posters can prevail.
