IDK, seeking a stronger mandate than 50% +1?

as soon as he suggests to Kenney that he get Notley involved, he loses a lot of credibility, at least in my eyes,

Okay, but why? From who? How does voting again change that result?

I’m sure Kenney is reading this and actually cares what some anonymous keyboarded has to say about him, or did your kid log in with your username?
And I’m not a Kenney fan.

I have heard speculation as well that he will run again for the leadership.

This way he isn't up against a nebulous imaginary leader candidate, instead he has people he can debate and win over. Plus he can have a Kamikaze candidate(s) to help him out.
He tried ballot box stuffing and only got 51%, so back to the tried and true.

Actually he probably wants a chance to debate Jean. I wouldn't doubt he would run for party leadership again if for no other reason than to call out his enemies onstage.

So now it is his turn to be a kamikaze candidate?

I love the part where he calls out Kenney for being partisan. A partisan politician. Can you imagine? What’s the world coming to.
People who get this worked up about politicians need to get out and go for a walk. That goes for anyone who froths at the mouth over Trudeau too.

Kenney is hyper-partisan to the point of it being embarrassing. He brings up his counterparts constantly whenever making a point. “blah blah, Trudeau, blah blah Notley, blah blah blah”

I wouldn't call him pathetic.
I do think he's a waffle and will probably agree with any suggestion put to him, so in that sense he's weak.
I don't doubt he's a nice person in general, but I also don't trust in what he'll do because of his belief system. I think the school curriculum would continue down the dark road it's on, for example.
be interesting to see if any of the UCP members who hated Kenney will run, or just line up behind Jean.
I predict they will line up behind Jean as he's likely the best chance to get people on the fence to give the UCP another chance.
Then they can continue the crap they've been doing the last few years.

Being from Fort McMurray, I don't have a great opinion of him, most of that is based on the social issues that you mention, some of that is that he's was the leader of the crazy person wild rose party, and the rest is that I've heard things because my family and many friends still live in Fort Mac. I don't really like anything about him, other than the fact that I think he's a little more honest than Kenney, so there's that.

Do you only follow provincial politics? Trudeau has brought up "blah blah Harper, blah blah, Harper" for multiple terms after Harper was out for crying out loud.

In this context I mean governing for your supporters and putting their will above the needs and will of the entire population over which your governing. Yes, he's on the right side of the spectrum, but that doesn't mean he should ignore everybody at least 1mm to the left.
He should also be able to speak on behalf of the province, not on behalf of his political party. He was unable to do that throughout.
Sorry, didn't know that wasn't obvious to any thinking person.
