Going Ben Jones here. 25 goals in 66 games in the AHL last year is solid. I think he will be a great addition to the Wranglers.

Ciona - Listed by the WHL at 6’2″, 206 pounds, this left shot winger came into this season with just 79 WHL games under his belt – a product of the pandemic shortening his first two WHL seasons. He played 77 games this season between the regular season and playoffs, functionally doubling his prior game total.
Ciona earned strong reviews from Seattle locals: he plays a rough-and-tumble style of game, constantly battling and using his frame to create space for his teammates. In 24 playoff games, he had nine goals and 14 points. Two of his goals were game-winners: a series-winner against Portland in the second round, and a goal against Edmonton in Game 5 that extended the series. (He had just a single game-winner in the regular season.) 11 of his playoff points were scored at even strength.

I liked Duehr when we saw him before. Reminded me of Hathaway a bit.

Went with Chechelev. 1ppg in the AHL. Pretty good if you ask me.
Yes, I know he's a goalie.

I went Cole Huckins, but there’s a few question marks. The obvious one is why was he sent away from his team for a third of the season? He was close to a ppg before the banishment, but his stats really suffered upon his return, ending up at 26 pts in 41 games. The year prior, in his draft year, he had 32 pts in 33 games-good numbers for a power forward in the CHL.
The other question mark is his skating, but if he can get that to improve, he’ll be a force. He’s 6’4”and mean, has pretty good IQ, and is a heart-and-soul player.

Of course, there are:
WTFeuk
Whynot
'one who is steadfast' (Ciona)
But I went off the board with Littler (perhaps the youngest "little" guy in Flames system?)

Voted Chechelev here as he seemed to track well after being drafted, but hasn't found a real home in the last season or two.
Parker Bell will be the guy for me until he gets picked. Big size, good speed, great work ethic - all things to love. What Button said stood out to me at the draft - A kid who hasn't really trained much for hockey. (Or something like that - implying that the scouts feel he can take a big step forward with better training).
That's an intriguing thought - a 6'4" player who skates well, but who hasn't had the benefit of real training, but he has that work-ethic. I like it.
