We might have a rain delay here which is a shame as Felix has come out guns blazing thus far.

Edit: No rain delay and Felix cruises to take the opening set 6-1 in 24 minutes. I can't recall a worst set of tennis from Diego.

Mmmhmm. No winners for Diego as of yet either, and these wet and heavy conditions are as taylor made for Shorty as it can ever get.

Man, Felix played well, but that was just terrible from Diego and when you consider he went to the final last year (lost to Djoker), that's costly from a ranking points perspective. 6-1 6-3 win for FAA.

Karatsev sends Medvedev packing 6-2 6-4. I didn't see the entire match, but I did see most of the second set and Medvedev was playing well. The problem was Karatsev was on fire.

On the women's side, Jessica Pegula ousts Naomi Osaka 7-6 6-2. I think Naomi likes the clay about as much as Medvedev.

Shapo should be up shortly as Greek Yogurt has just eliminated 20 bounce Cilic. We also know Felix's next opponent will be Delbonis who thrashed Goatfin 6-2 6-1.

Some scrappy play by Denis in this first set, but he's been able to stay on serve versus Travaglia.

Edit: Denis wins the opening set in a tie-breaker (7-2 was the tie-breaker score).
