I wanna make a Mc Ricken or a Mc Filet-o-Fib just to say I've done so. Maybe that should be my lunch.

It's McDonalds. None of it is good except a) when drunk or b) breakfast.

The problem is the Filet o Fish is so incredibly expensive. Unless you get it on fan day on the app for $4, I think it's almost $7 regular price

It's all expensive now.

Quarter Pounder w/ cheese is $7.69. McDouble is $3.39. A 6 pack of Nuggets is $6.49.

The Filet O' Fish is $5.69 or $11.09 with a meal. So actually one of the "better value" options.

I was in HK this summer and the McDs was 3 mins away. I had the 2 filet of fishs the first 2 days because it was only $2cdn. Then I realized, why the eff am I eating at Mcdonalds when there are like 1000 restaurants within 8 blocks of my condo.

So the next 20 days I only went back once to try the fried chicken which was really good and the mango slush which had like a whole mango in it.

I still can't believe they are in business in North America with that kyitty lunch and dinner menu and kyitty food.

Never had a McRib and it's been about a year since I last ate McDonalds. Brother and I would order it off Uber Eats once every couple months or so where we'd get 3 McDoubles (plain) each and split a medium fry for dinner but I see the McDoubles are $4.09 on all the apps nowadays.. Ripoff.

Gave one a go today. I have no clue when I last had one, but I remember it being decent enough. Well, the one I had today was certainly a few steps below decent and I won’t be needing to try another one. Something about the texture of the “pork” patty and the bun was weird. BBQ sauce was fine, I guess. I will say, the sandwich was slightly larger than I expected, so that would have been a good thing if it had been tasty…but it was not.

It's okay, McDonald's nailed the whole point of making a viral comeback of a mediocre fast food product. Millions off social media discussion leading to everyone saying "yeah, Ill have to get to a McDonald's and try one out at least".

Pull it two months from now and do it again does the road.

I tried the combination of McChicken/Nuggets, McRib and Filet o Fish.

There are worse ways to waste $25.
They're all better off on their own than in combinations.

I had a McRib the other day. Not as "good" as I remember (but this was a decade ago and also in the US), and had way too much sauce. Glad I tried it, but I'm satiated for another decade.

Funny enough, the McRib that I had the other day didn't have nearly enough sauce. Barely a hint of BBQ

The more I think of it, is the texture of the McRib different? I seem to recall it was always very soft, almost goo like and seemingly quite fatty.

Now I think there's actual texture (more meat?) and it seems closer in texture to a sausage McMuffin than what the McRib was before.

Large bowl of Pho/Bun plus salad/spring rolls! Under $25

That's a better way to spend $25. A worse way might be a dive bar.

But at least I got the McFib, McRicken, McChugget and McFugget curiosity out of my system. That's worth most of the price of admission.

Yes!! It totally has the texture of a McMuffin and even looks like a longer one.

I think sliced Spam, fried up and served on toast with bbq sauce would be more satisfying than what the McRib sounds like.

Probably just that most people haven’t heard of, or otherwise eaten whole the particular parts of the pig that were used in creating a McRib patty.
