I just want one player named 'Wolf' to finally pan out.

Is that so much to ask?

A smaller, better puck-stopping Joe Colborne

Be nice to let him do the playoff run with the Wranglers too

I don't recall any other goalie having the quickness he does. Even back in the normal human sized goalie days like Belfour, Potvin, Brodeur and Roy. Actually, Maybe Potvin.

Yep !

Mark me there also.

Trevor Kidd.
Joni Ortio
Jon Gillies
Karri Ramo
Tyler Parsons

4 of the biggest misses for me. I thought they all were gonna be studs.

this, let him go for a championship and then he gets a proper chance next year.

i know people are down now but we have a few youngsters that could turn this ship around pretty quickly...and yes i know we need the coach to play them but still.

Yeah, goalies are witches - I'll get excited when he's doing it in the show (for more than a fraction of a season)

If the Flames lose the next couple send Duehr, Pelletier, Gilbert, Coronato and Wolf if he’s up back down to win the Cup with the wranglers.

Might as well not teach them to lose with the current big club.

Wolf has now played 100 professional games.
73-19-6
2.26
.927
7 shutouts

I would not bet against this kid

Losing just 19 of your first 100 pro games is nutty.

Has to be more than 7 shut outs. That guy goes on shut out streaks.

7 shutouts is surprisingly low. Feels like he's had 7+ in each of his first two seasons.

Remarkably, Wolf had zero regular season shutouts his rookie season.

Wolf did not have a single shutout in his first (regular) season.

That's okay, I can live with winning every game 5-1 instead of 5-0.

The closest for sure. Wolf plays a more upright style. IMO, his puck tracking/reads are the strongest part of his game.

I'd put that a close 2nd behind his quickness/reflexes.

I heard he's insanely good a ping-pong as well, we may have to nickname him Gump.
