All it would take is one swipe of a sharpie from his forehead on back.

Spurs were fully healthy 7 days ago

Now down a keeper, captain, best player this season in betancour possibly out for season, sessegnon out 6 weeks leaving only 34 year old perisic to play on the left, bissouma is out, and hojberg suspended in CL for 1st leg

So down to 2 midfielders aged 22 and 20 with champions league this week in Milan in skipp and sarr, super high on both, would be happy with either if he had one of the 3 who were missing beside him, but those two alone in Milan will be a tough task

All I know for sure is, there has been improvement, it has been fun to watch, but as we approach the business end of the season, the squad limitations are beginning to manifest themselves.

The good news is, unless there is a spectacular collapse combined with spectacular turnarounds in a lot of teams below them, they’re making the Champions League.
For me, it depends what happens in the 2 matches vs City. At least split the points and I'll say Arsenal are strong title contenders.
Get 1 point or less & City walk away with the title easily.

Cant let them rip off 9 straight points here even keeping them to 1 draw keeps arsenal level with a game in hand, assuming they beat villa which isnt a guarantee in itself

If this was a month ago I'd think anything less than splitting the two games, either a win each or two draws, was a disaster

But with arsenal in probably their worst form of the season, damage limitation is important

Make up points on the weeks city have double the games, damage limitation here to stop a huge momentum from building

Spurs live rent free in Pep’s head. It would be funnier if they didn’t have so much silverware.

He name checked Levy earlier in the week too. LOL

no, he's suggesting that they are to blame for everything in the world because everybody thinks they're evil. He's playing the martyr here.

Yeah that's fair. That kind of thing has happened before, most famous in my mind being an Arsenal-Sheff Utd game which was replayed.

Definitely should be fired. I believe Mason has a history of screw ups. Some mistakes in the heat of the moment are excusable but when you have slomo and the technology and can't implement it then you're just incompetent and shouldn't be tasked with decisions of that magnitude.

But. At least Webb is offering some sort of transparency and accountability.

That's a two point title race screw up.

Quote:
The Premier League's referees' body has admitted "significant errors" in the offside decisions that went against Arsenal and Brighton in their games on Saturday.

Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) issued a statement after Ivan Toney's goal for Brentford was wrongly allowed to stand against league leaders Arsenal, while Brighton's Pervis Estupiñán scored against Crystal Palace and was incorrectly ruled offside.

Both matches ended as 1-1 draws, with the PGMOL contacting the clubs and blaming the incidents on "human error".

The organisation wrote on Twitter: "PGMOL can confirm its Chief Refereeing Officer Howard Webb has contacted both Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion to acknowledge and explain the significant errors in the VAR [video assistant referee] process in their respective Premier League fixtures on Saturday.

"Both incidents, which were due to human error and related to the analysis of offside situations, are being thoroughly reviewed by PGMOL."

Former Premier League referee Keith Hackett has called for VAR official Lee Mason to step down for failing to rule out the Toney equaliser.

Admitting a mistake isnt just a baby step it's a massive leap, so at the very least Webb being involved is going to lead to more trust imo of the whole system

Especially after reading from clattemburg how behind the scenes the referee system previously was run like something out of high school with all the cliques and favoritism
