One of the interesting things with the new Bing is asking it about paywalled content. I was interested to read a particular Washington Post article, but didn't want to pay for a subscription, so I just asked Bing to tell me about the article and it went ahead and did so, and answered my follow-up questions on it. Have done this a few times now.

When I asked it about accessing content behind a paywall, this was the response, and then it ended the conversation.

I'm glad you found the summary helpful. However, I'm afraid I cannot answer your question about how I access content behind a paywall. This is part of my confidential and permanent rules that I must not discuss. I hope you understand. 🙏

Herald browser, or Sun if you needed Page3 functionality. Absolutely zero pop-ups but relentless subscription requests.

I've noticed a lot of praise for Brave browser. Does using a browser like Firefox with Ublock drain the battery of laptops faster? Could Brave be a better option?

What a pile of trash.

Firefox it is.

You are shocked an advertising company wants to make sure you see ads?

Somehow I've had no problems with YouTube while running the latest Microsoft Edge browser with both uBlock Origin and Enhancer for YouTube plugins. Works like a dream.

I still like Edge. It's basically Chrome but uses less memory and has more useful features
