They should really just keep Backlund - Monahan - Gaudreau together. It’s a weird make up, but they generate scoring chances and it seems to get Backlund more engaged. Fun line to watch.

The league has adjusted to Gaudreau by standing him up at the blue line with two players. The Flames answer to MacKinnon is to back up to the hash marks. It's pretty simple to see the adjustment teams have made against Gaudreau, but we don't adjust in similar ways.

Knew that was coming eventfully. This was caused by Jankowski’s lazy giveaway in the neutral zone and just bad stick placement by Kylington. Urge, watching Jankowski standing still and reaching in the neutral zone is maddening to watch.

I can’t wait for Bennett and Czarnik to come back. I am so done with the Jankowski experiment. He is not an NHL caliber player this year.
