Ok thanks, bummer. Although I didn't find out until late last night that MacInnis was playing, so I'll take it. The HC has gotten surprisingly little airtime outside the city (I'm assuming its getting pumped pretty good in Cgy).

[QUOTE=Sainters7;2967382]I can't believe I told my cousin I'd take his extra ticket to the Oilers/Thrashers game this afternoon, I completely forgot the Alumni game was being held the day before the main event. Frankly I'd rather miss the main game than this one. Thank jeebus for PVR. I heart the future.[/Q]

Forget the alumni gami, I can't believe you'd go to an Oilers/Thrashers game. Oilers are basically and AHL team, and people in Atlanta don't give a damn about Atlanta Thrashers and you're going to watch them...

PVR what. CBC isn't showing it. They will be too busy talking about Sens and Leafs (mostly Leafs)

Haha ya I had to think about it. But when you're a broke student and can only get to 1-2 games a year, beggers can't be choosers. I just wish I had realized the Alumni game was on at the exact same time, I would've told him no. Too late now. Ah well, I'll watch er when I get home. And I'll have a couple heroin beers in the meantime and laugh at the Oilers sucking. Still an enjoyable afternoon haha.

Really?? Last night when I went to PVR it, on CBCHD from 3-4 it says "Heritage Classic Alumni Game". I assumed that was it. Lame, its not even televised?? Makes sense..

3-4 shows as Heritage Classic Countdown show.
The game doesn't start until 4:30.

Thanks, ya I just checked it again, I should've read it closer. Well 4:30's not bad, game should be done be 4. Hopefully I'm back in time for the start. And if not, hopefully cbc.ca archives the game afterwards.

Can't believe its not televised, that's really lame.

Does anyone know if the Alumni game is 3 20-minute periods, or if it is 60 minutes running time?

Hopefully not a Fata, but Theo said this morning on Twitter that he's going to do the slide if he scores (a la 1991 vs Edmonton)....if I wasn't pumped for this already, I am now!

"@TheoFleury14: Seems like the consensus is everybody wants to see the slide. I'll see what I can do. LOL"

I'm sure Theo will score. He scored against a bona fide NHL prospect in pre-season action last season, I'm sure he can sneak one by a rusty Eric Fichaud.

Anybody know a site that will tell me what the temperature was in Calgary during the CFL western final? Just wondering if it was colder that day.

Is there a way to get the stream on my TV. I have a laptop, ps3 and xbox360. Can I make this work without purchasing any cables?

Fantastic memories for sure. Great videos too; I actually forgot that Harvey the Hound used to be red.

Any one have any suggestions on how a person in the States can view the alumni game?! I really want to watch it.

If I go to cbcsports.ca it says the video cannot be streamed outside of canada. :wtf:

For those of you going, what's the jersey choice? HC or Retro?
